Actually, I think Kilmeade’s getting real life confused with the first “The Fast & The Furious” movie.

The qualifier “blithering” fits so well when describing the FOX News personalities

The number of attacks on traffic in Iraq equals the number of attacks in the USA.

But how many miles of highway are there in the USA vs. Iraq? How many people are there in the USA vs Iraq ? How many total miles are driven per year in the USA vs. Iraq ?

One of these has to go into the denominator to be able to make a comparison. Otherwise it is like saying the number of murders in a small town of 10,000 people is equal to the number of murders in the states west of the Mississippi – therefore they are equal.

I live in Columbus, OH and I’ve never heard or seen a convoy attack here or in another city…….

There is the problem though, that if St. Rupert put that through he’d have to keep Billo and John Gibson away…possibly through legal means. You know those two would patronize this new network to “support” their “colleagues” with the no pants dance.

So, given your theories of marketplace-driven bias (at least as applied to the popularity of right-wing talk-show hosts) doesn’t it stand to reason that (assuming for the sake of argument that the media does possess the bias you believe) this bias in the MSM is simply the result of the media responding to the demands of the audience?

It’s a conundrum. It’s a tough one for the “conservatives” braying about how successful that the RightWingTalk shows are when the vast majority of electronic media is “proven” to be liberally biased, because they’re always yapping about how the success of Limbaugh et al prove the country is “conservative”.

And none of them ever address the issue that the MSM is owned, lock, stock and barrel by some of America’s biggest corporations. Why, one wonders, would these huge corporations continue to fund a “liberal” media?

You’re not going to rest until “Leave it to Beaver” and the “Joseph McCarthy: To Tell the Truth Hour” are back on the air, huh? Nothing says “conservative objectivity” like white people and the “pristine” qualities of no minorities in sight around the neighborhood or them dancing to dogs and bullets for entertainment’s sake on the news.

Lets face it, the word “conservative” doesn’t lend itself to the words “open mindedness”.
