I don’t have access to tv much so I really don’t pay much attention to Katie or Fox. I can say that when I have seen Fox News it has been way messed up but since I have never seen Ms. Couric, I really couldn’t comment

Reminds me of the KKK leader who turned against his supremist brethren. It was after a colleague said that once the war against skin color was over, then they would move to eye color. This grizzled high-ranking officer of the KKK woke up over this.

What happened on this Fox program seems like a similar situation. At the core, many of these people have the sad anxieties that they try to make light of. Try to find comfort in those with the same phobias and empathetic deficits.

Hope this woman wakes up.

And I hope I am right. Like I said my observations are by no means reflective of any strong quantifiable data just causual observation. I had not read nor heard of a measured decline this decade. It is possible that the increases of the 90’s many have some links to economic factors.

Apparently, you do not recall my other numerous posts on TP threads so that you can put my Edwards comments in context. I am anything but a “concern troll” or someone who would quote the National Enquirer as an authoritative source.

I am really rather disappointed in the fact that you want to “kill the messenger” rather than deal with the message. As to “gathering facts” and/or refutation, etc., that’s irrelevant at this point. The story is the story. What I am saying is that this will likely get bigger as the days wear on. I suspect that the Enquirer has pictures of Edwards in what it has described as a compromising situation. If so, they wouldn’t put them on their website — they are saving them for their next print edition so they can sell their yellow pulp paper.

There are Democrats who are not immune to criticism and scandal, you know. It is really unfortunate if we cannot have a civil conversation about this.

I will flag anyone who is making an effort to disrupt or derail. I will do this silently without even posting that I’m doing it, since publicizing flagging also feeds the trolls.
