Too bad. It would have been better if they had never invited him to speak. If they had censored him for lying about the war, for helping to shred the Constitution they fought for. Or for all the thousand sins of this corrupt man. And for the least of his sins, being a bad shot with a gun.

Our standards in oversight and prosecution has slipped to the point of being non-existent.
