i am so appalled that so many on this website can wish so much ill will on this man who is battling cancer. radical republican or not, the man is about to undergo a most brutal fight, and i know first hand, having had a brain tumor myself senior year of high school. having completely lost my vision for lengthy time periods, having had cognitive difficulties that can only be fully explained by experiencing them, and having had craniotomy to remove this cancer form my brain, i can only wish him well. i am 17, i did not wish this cancer on me, nor would i wish it on anyone else. This blog’s comments represent the extreme hatred of the radical left, and they minimize the fight of other cancer patients, and that is unforgivable.

In the old days I had nothing but sympathy for people with a terminal diagnosis, regardless of their politics. Now, in a lot of cases, Novak being one of them, I wonder why the SOB was ever born to begin with.

I will grant that the brain tumor may have impaired his vision in the hit and run accident. But his own lack of ethics and morals caused him to out a CIA agent and thus imperil her various contacts around the world. I am usually a sympathetic person, but I have no sympathy for this man.

I would probably feel something for another human being with a diagnosis like this. But a part of me just can’t. Some might say what goes around comes around. If only a few more in the higher end of the administration would only keep their cell phones strapped to their heads.

I’m sorry, but this sounds like an excuse for hit and run charges! I hope it’s not, and Lord forgive me for my evil thoughts, but though I think no one should have to suffer with a brain tumor, Robert Novak definitely qualifies. I knew something was wrong with his brain, it just took time to find out. But, I still think it’s going to be his defense in his hit and run trial.

Pretty straightforward. No indication whether you were criticizing those who were “boorish” or everyone who posts here. Given your dismissive “I’m not going to keep score” in this post, it sounds like you are criticizing everyone.

If so, you’re a dick, and you seem eager to use this thread as an opportunity to make your partisan points seem stronger by grounding them in moral outrage. If you really cared about “boorish behavior” then you would have criticized the boorish behavior, instead of calling everyone “sad and pathetic.”

Whatever. I gave you a few moments’ energy as if your were a real human being. I think I’ll go back to treating you as your posts deserve — as a troll, and not a particularly bright one at that.

Novak is a pile of bile. but having seen the effects of a brain tumor on a loved one I couldn’t wish that on anyone. IF this proves to be fatal I won’t for one minute act sad or pretend he was anything other than a rotten snake but a brain tumor… that’s awful.

No, we are not traitors; we are human beings, and that is why we “should…become concerned when one is dealt a blow….” As for whether or not the “blow [Novak has been dealt is] for the pain he inflicts on others,” that is not for us to decide. And pointing out that this “blow” is probably blow-back or comeuppance that Novak rightly earned, isn’t bad karma its just bad.
