Interviewed on MSNBC’s Countdown last week, former White House press secretary Scott McClellan said Fox News pundits and commentators “were useful to the White House,” adding that they were given “talking points” to air. On his radio show today, Bill O’Reilly let loose on McClellan, calling him a “liar” and an “idiot”:
McClellan goes on NBC. Hehe, I guess he lives there now. I never got a talking point in my life from anybody. And McClellan’s lying. Okay, Scott? Got it? I’m calling you a liar. Lost all respect for you. I treated you courteously when you came on the program. No respect for you now. … He’s an idiot. He wants to sell his stupid book.
Listen here:
Scott, since Bill O’Reilly has “lost all respect for you”, you know you are on the right course.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:25 pmOk, that’s the final endorsement that McClellan needed to demonstrate that he is clearly telling the truth.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:26 pmI never got a talking point in my life from anybody.”
Not too smart of you to willingly volunteer that you support the GOP blindly all on your own , Dildo O’Lielly……..
July 28th, 2008 at 8:28 pm“And McClellan’s lying. Okay, Scott? Got it? I’m calling you a liar.”
You forgot the “pants on fire” part , you sorry-ass GOP tool…
July 28th, 2008 at 8:30 pmSounds a little bit like O’Biley and his teleprompter FU*K THAT! rant, doesn’t it!
July 28th, 2008 at 8:31 pmIs it my imagination, or is that a little froth forming on O’Really’s lips?
July 28th, 2008 at 8:32 pm“Lost all respect for you.”
Bill, you arrogant jerk, what makes you think anyone cares about your respect?
You’re a known idiot, Bill. Your respect is a detriment to one’s reputation.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:33 pmwell he didn’t call him a loofah
and he didn’t call him a falafel.
but he’s lost all respect for him?

July 28th, 2008 at 8:35 pmWe’ve all heard the collections of right wing pundits using the same phrases in their “reporting” and O’Reilly was prominent in those collections. You’re not fooling us Billy.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:35 pmYou don’t ‘get’ your talking points from the White House, you remove them from your colonic cavity once the boys at 1600 PA Ave have had their fun with you.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:37 pmDick Morris – purveyor of prostitutes’ feet for sucking.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:37 pmO’Liely is, of course, lying.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:39 pmLiar & idiot? Look in the mirror, O’Reilly- and wipe that mirror down first with your falafel.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:43 pmWell Bill. At least Sotty’s book didn’t inspire one of the folks to shoot up a church with a reputation for ALLEGED LIBERAL VIEWS. How do you manage to continue living with the blood of innocents on YOUR hands?

July 28th, 2008 at 8:44 pmWhew! It’s a good thing for Scotty that O’Reilly doesn’t do personal attacks.
otherwise, that could have gotten ugly.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:46 pmTo know that he’s a liar implies O’Reilley has personal knowledge of the truth. So is O’Reilley admitting to collusion with the WH ???
July 28th, 2008 at 8:47 pmBillO isn’t trying to sell his own book, A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity with another “cowardly rotten piece of inanity” is he?
July 28th, 2008 at 8:47 pmMayhaps William O. Reilly should coin a new phrase for one of his ‘books’. Lidiotar. Suits him to a tee.

July 28th, 2008 at 8:58 pm“This country is a better place because Fox News has succeeded.” Bill after making a statement like that, you are the one that is an idiot & a liar. By the way, stop your whining.
July 28th, 2008 at 8:59 pmI really can’t wait to hear Bill0 explain why his book had nothing to do with the church shooting but rap lyrics are “destroying the American values and way of life”.
It’s going to be some head exploding hypocrisy!

Yes, every weeknight, on television. Oh, wait, that’s Bill’s TV show. Oh, wait again, Bill IS the fresh piece of crap.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:06 pmWhait…aren’t wee for progressive stuff..and stuff?
So full of hate (AARRRRHH!!!)
July 28th, 2008 at 9:07 pmIf a known and documented liar and an idiot calls McClellan “a liar and an idiot” does that make McClellan trustworthy and smart????
July 28th, 2008 at 9:09 pmspyder, I think it makes him Batman, Superman and the Phantom, all in one.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:10 pmBill is pathetic, what an odious sack of crap that asshat is. Calls McClellan a liar with nothing whatsoever to back up that libelous claim, sort of like every show he has had since he came on the air to appeal to racist octegenarians
July 28th, 2008 at 9:11 pmCaptain blowhard O’Reilly calls McClellan a ‘liar’ and an ‘idiot’ blah, blah, blah.
Ah, Bill the pill is still pretty pissed that the little buckeroo McClellan dropped the bombshell about the White House’s connection to the CIA Leak probe which left the Bush’s loyalists “puzzled.” BillO still trying to work off his 10 million sexual harrassment lawsuit. His political and retarded attacks against MoveOn, Thinkprogress, Huffington, Scotty McClellan, and so on is beyond nauseating.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:20 pmAt least he didn’t call scotty a pinhead. Now that would have hurt.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:34 pmAnd why aren’t there any trolls saying that us “libs” hated scotty when he was at the whitehouse?
One of the worst media whores in television history and he has the nerve to criticizes someone for trying to sell a book about his experiences while working in the White House. There are no mirrors in the self-deluding world of O’Reilly.
July 28th, 2008 at 9:36 pmfrom knoxnews.com:
Inside the house, officers found “Liberalism is a Mental Health Disorder” by radio talk show host Michael Savage, “Let Freedom Ring” by talk show host Sean Hannity, and “The O’Reilly Factor,” by television talk show host Bill O’Reilly.

July 28th, 2008 at 9:54 pmBildo is projecting again.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:21 pmA couple of years ago drunken O’Reilly would have been standing in line to kiss Scotty’s ass.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:22 pmMcClellan should sue Fox and O’Reilly for slander.
McClellan’s lying? Prove it.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:32 pmO’Reilly is a buffoon.
A large portion of his audience consists of aged shut-ins,
angry loons and the dumbest of the dumb.
He’s just a classic New York B.S. artist taking advantage of the country bumpkins and senior citizens to make a buck.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:40 pmHe probably just got done sexually harassing some woman.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:41 pmWonder how long before O’Rielly is begging for a guest spot on Geraldo?
July 28th, 2008 at 10:43 pmI see the anti-semitic. librul hating killer in Kentucky had books by O’Reilly, Hannity and Weiner (Savage) in his house.
Interesting…..two NYC con artists and a Jew.
July 28th, 2008 at 10:47 pmMr. “I won a Peabody” calling someone else a liar? I’m shocked … shocked….
Cheers,
July 28th, 2008 at 10:55 pmdon’t forget his college career as an all star punter either.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:00 pmO’Reilly assumes that McClellan considers him to be a “pundit” or a “commentator”? He may be giving himself a bit too much credit.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:10 pmAs usual BillO thinks the whole world revolves around him and seems to think his show is some sort of news organization. It’s 90 per cent opinion and very little news. If course the white house would not call him with talking points as he has his own. You know, the George Soros ,moveon.org,etc hating BS talking points he always uses. BillO is the biggest liar on TV. He’s caught all the time. Who is he to call anyone a liar. McClellan basically reconfirmed once again what we all knew about Fox News already. Oh that really made BillO mad. He hates truth.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:12 pmWow. FINALLY somebody calls McClellan a liar. Of course, it’s O’Reilly, who uses the term pretty much synonymous with “a$$hole” — miscellaneous insult, signifying nothing in particular.
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting for O’Reilly to give a detailed argument explaining how, exactly, he knows Scotty is lying and what, specifically, the lies are.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:14 pmO’Reilly, Hannity and Savage were the authors of several books in the home of the radical lunatic who went on a shooting rampage in a church over the weekend.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:20 pmNow, I am not making any assumption based on such circumstantial evidence, but what do you think the right wing would do with the same kind of information were the shoe on the other foot?
A. Scotty has a book, testimony and endless appearances during which he has provided sufficient evidence for his allegations.
B. He didn’t name Bill0 as being among the “pundits and commentators”.
C. The person who screams “LIAR” about a general statement carries the burden of proof.
A tip for sock puppets: When you are finished washing your laundry, tie the pairs of socks together before throwing them in the dryer. This prevents the extra-dimensional sock creatures from stealing single socks. So? You won’t have to keep making new sock puppets and going through the strain of thinking up imaginative names.
July 28th, 2008 at 11:32 pmAnd what is it that would make anyone believe a word BillO says?
July 28th, 2008 at 11:48 pmTakes one to know one. Got it?

What does Billo care about Scot?
His talking point memo from the White House and GOP provides his issues and agenda.
If Billo cares not, then why all the fuss?
Earth to Billo, We all know you get the talking points. That is why ingrahm, Sean, and the rest are all saying the same thing every single day.
Obama could be at the scene of a accident and save the life of someone and you would read the GOP memo that Obama only save one.
Billo reaffirms how much of a liar he really is with this.

There might be a precedent set by the persecution of musicians for actions attributed to their lyrics but, the most that would be likely to achieve is warning labels on books even if the shooter wrote, “these guys gave me the idea”. I’m not thrilled by the idea of warning labels even if the Buy-bull is labeled “By Prescription Only”.
However, the victims might be able to keep the authors in court for the next decade on civil matters. They could certainly attach any additional earnings the authors may gain from their new books about why it wasn’t their fault. Or claiming credit? (shudders!)
Unfortunately, Unitarians tend to be more forgiving than Reichwing True-Christians(TM).
July 29th, 2008 at 12:20 amMethinks O’Reilly doth protest too much…
July 29th, 2008 at 1:08 amWho gives a shit what O’Reilly says. Only a fool would think he believes any of the shit he says. He and his ilk are just exploiting a segment of the population by feeding them the goofy shit that they like to eat up. It is about marketing and nothing more.
July 29th, 2008 at 1:27 amA knowledgeable, clever, person would know that, although he didn’t specify Faux, Scotty said he had lied on behalf of his bosses during his sworn testimony before a Congressional Committee. Those he accused have offered no credible conflicting testimony. And since hie job was dispensing talking points (a loosely defined term at best) I think it’s fair to say a fair number were repeated.
Also, no one has offered a legitimate complaint that his book is misleading or inaccurate despite some accusations. I wouldn’t put anyone in jail on that evidence but the refusal to challenge his account feeds a strong suspicion of guilt.
And a mention of “Bill” by Tweety, while he was talking over Scotty’s answer and trying to put words in his mouth, is quite different than Scotty accusing Bill0 of anything. Slander would require something like, “Commentators, including Bill0, took their talking points from us”. Then Bill0 would have to sue, define talking point, prove he never repeated one, prove damages related to the defamation etc.
It would take only a few minutes of Youtube to produce an instance of Bill0 repeating a talking point. He knows it. We know it. His viewers think anyone who would challenge Bill0 is a far left loon. Because Bill0 tells them so EVERY DAY.
But knowledgeable, clever, people knew that.
BTW, did Bill0 offer a tearful admission that, in light of his apparent part in inciting a shooting spree, he’s going to tone it down a bit? That’s what a rational, feeling, human would do.
July 29th, 2008 at 1:43 amI mean, how many times have people who watch Faux been subjected to Bill0 playing a hateful Republicriminal talking point, some of Scotty no doubt, and offering his smug-a$$ “And I agree”?
July 29th, 2008 at 1:47 amWho cares!
O’Rielly is not a legitimate news source. He is a large talking-head.
….O’Rielly “now we bring on Dick Morris”…enough said.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:44 amO’Reilly calling McClellan a “liar” anbd “idiot” is an egregious instance of a pot calling a kettle “black”.
July 29th, 2008 at 7:57 amO’Lielly’s just mad because he has finally been exposed for what he truly is…a hand puppet for the White House. Dildo’s irate because Dana Purina’s hand and forearm aren’t as big as Scott McClellan’s, thus not as pleasureable when she shoves it up his arse to his tonsils to make him speak the talking points.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:05 amTracy5 Says:
Oh BS! McClellan accused, with absolutely not proof, O’Reilly of taking talking points, i.e. politial positions of the White House and using them to promote the Bush agenda.
How embarrassing for you to sit there and watch Bill O’Reilly and every other a-hole on Fox News recite White House talking points verbatim over the past 7+ years and then act as if you don’t know what is going on.
You are either a complete dumbass or you are a shameless liar.
Which is it?

After reading her posts which contain erroneous logic as a standard, my vote goes for Tracy being an emotionally maladjusted individual. In each one of her posts, there’s a “daddy figure” whom Tracy elevates to God-like status, defending them no matter what heinous act they commit. People like Tracy are not only emotionally maladjusted, they are intellectually lazy…notice how all of her “daddy figures” TELL her what to think and believe. Truly pathetic.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:16 amOf course McClellan’s word was gospel to Fox and O’Reilly when he worked in the White House , now McClellan spoke against Bush..he is labled as a liar by O’Reilly & Fox talking heads, for revealing what has been known by most people for sometime that the White House gets good supported coverage from Fox.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:28 amO’Reilly never called McClellan a liar when he worked as spokeman for Bush, with him providing then an enabling job to Fox.
Bozo The Neoclown Says:
…my vote goes for Tracy being an emotionally maladjusted individual. In each one of her posts, there’s a “daddy figure” whom Tracy elevates to God-like status,
Yes, I noticed that as well. Tracy is 35 years old, which would make it a Reagan brat. Like most groveling right-wingers, Tracy needs authoritarian guidance to marginally function. This low self-esteem is likely caused by abuse suffered at the hand of an authoritarian figure during Tracy’s childhood.
After a lifetime of uncritically swallowing authoritarian right-wing propaganda, Tracy cannot tell truth from lies, or fact from fiction.
July 29th, 2008 at 8:32 amSound Progress Says:
The book has bombed in sales. O’Rielly should just ignore him.
Do you wingnuts say these things just to hear yourself lie? Or, do you think constantly repeating an untruth will make it happen?

July 29th, 2008 at 8:40 amGood point, Bozo. FOX pundits get their marching orders from the WH. They regurgitate them on air to the sheeple. The sheeple then come here and post said talking points as though it were factual news that they learned from a reliable source. What the sheeple (read: trolls and LIV’s) don’t or refuse to understand is the simple path (three degrees of seperation) that the Administration’s propaganda takes from the WH to FOX directly to the sheeple. No facts required…ever.
