I want suits in Colorado, New Jersey, and any other state where illegal suppression campaigns are being conducted. And some real looks at the polling methodology would also be eye opening.

If you’re referring to Karl Schwarz’ articles, if they are true, how will we ever know unless the news media gets involved without bias? The military under orders not to speak out may never convey Karl Scharz’ expose’. Sesli Sohbet If Cheney was truly involved in 9/11 and protected in some way, then he’s being protected by what may be going on in the Caspian Sea area as well. That pre-9/11 August 10, 2000 article drives the point home to me that Cheney had a vested interest in the oil at the Caspian Sea area (before 9/11). Fx15 From all I’ve read in Schwarz’ articles, he claims the Taliban was working on a deal with Argentina with that pipeline in the Caspian Sea area and UNOCOL wanted the deal instead. Orjinal Lida It’s too much to get into here and I’m not able to convey in here what Schwarz has presented in his articles. Sikis Dig into Schwarz’ articles to learn more about the unnamed soldier’s experiences related to so-called Black Ops missions in the Caspian Sea area in Schwarz’ article. What Schwarz had to present in this article is an eye opener: kurtlar vadisi pusu izle

This is another example that the "old world jounalism of Murrow, Cronkite and Rather is dead and buried. In the case of the Time Magazine reporter Ms Tumulty, she seems to think the finding out the who, what, where, when and how have been replaced with a steno pad, which she records what ABC said in rebuttle to the complaint of Congressman Kucinich. There is a great disconnect with what happened and the points made by ABC. She asks little of no questions to ABC. She takes what is handed to her and repeats it vebatim and then calls that reporting. I call is stenography. Lida Sohbet sohbet sesli chat Gelinlik Modelleri

McCain kept talking about – kept talking about – kept talking about a gas tax holiday. Well summer will be over soon why didn’t McCain propose it? I guess it’s easier to talk about it – talk about it – talk about it, instead of taking action. MY FRIENDS.

From Hunter's diary :

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/8/2/13152/24931/498/560880

The entire purpose of new offshore leases would be as a boon to energy companies and market speculators, by infusing the speculative market with billions of dollars worth of new product at almost no expense to the companies themselves.

The oil companies can't drill those new leases, that much is clear. There's plenty of existing leases to drill, and they aren't drilling those either, and there seems no particular interest in rapidly expanding capacity in order to actually drill them.

But each company can hold those leases, and borrow against the value of those leases, and trade those leases, so that's the primary value of the new offshore plots -- as tradable assets on the speculative market.

Hunter nails it.

Wow, how's that for coincidence, for truth?

No one posts for three hours, and then we post at the same, exact minute.

I hope this bodes well for my pool-shooting tonight.

Gas price update: here in San Diego, the prices continue to fall. It's now $3.87 a gal., reflecting a $.55 drop in the last two weeks.

Case closed, regarding this little pre-election tempest, stirred up by Big Oil.

The "lights out" elected republicans perfectly demonstrate the problem with fulfilling their masters' wishes: circumstances have left them alone and in the dark, bellowing their powerless rage in an empty theater, now that speculation is being brought under control.

They knew excessive speculation in the futures markets was the problem, but they continued to trumpet totally unrealistic solutions, and now they're stuck, looking like they were hung out to dry by their corporate buddies.

And the trolls, like the proverbial frog, aren't yet aware that they've also cooked their credibility, by leg-humping Big Oil's fake solutions to real problems.

In theory, I think our system is most effective when power is split between parties. However, the utter contempt which the GOP has displayed under Bushco is unprecedented. And, in light of the infestation of the DOJ, nothing is likely to be redressed until a new administration fumigates the Department.

That may be the first, most important, task of the new President.

After that begins the hard work of repairing the gaping holes Bushco has left in our society. That's not up to our Representatives. It's up to us to hold them accountable. And we have to take a chance.

We need to cast off the Ruling Party, and the whole concept of the eternal campaign, in a grand gesture the whole world will see. Then we have to give the Dems the power to do things. Even if they are the wrong things, it's preferable to the deadlock we've had since 06.

cabbinbagger @ 254

"And I don’t believe for a moment that the Executive Branch will remain as it is under McCain. No, his campaign isn't filled with the usual suspects (Karl Rove, Phil Gramm, the Swift Boaters, Freedom's Watch) and he's got a whole crew of different, kinder moderate Republicans lined up to fill those key slots. Riiiight.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but we’ve already got a RW Supreme Court, and will have for decades to come, McCain or no. Yes, I have noticed. I also noticed that the more liberal, progressive SC's are ready to retire. Instead of 5-4 / 4-5 splits, you're suggestiong 7-0 splits for RW activist judges...no thanks.

Basically, our two-party system is a sham and has failed the people of the United States, but has proven the ability of folks in office to get rich off the backs of U.S. citizens. If you think the Democrats are looking out you any more than the Republicans before them, then you’ve been had, friend, and you really need to pull your head out.

blah, blah, blah. I've heard this Republican talking point before. I can name you 20 corrupt and perverted Republicans for every Democrat. I understand why it is in the Republican Party's best interest to sell this idea to the voter. Your best shot in mitigating your losses is convincing enough voters there is no difference. Maybe some, like your slow brother Biff, will even believe it. No sale here, though. I will work, though, to get better, more liberal and progressive Democrats elected and get rid of those Blue Dogs/DINO's that hamstring progress. 60 votes in the Senate and Obama in the WH....enjoy the change!

Yes, yes. We know the "libruls" are going to force: atheism, immorality, communism, lycanthropy, Islam, black racism, Ebonics, white racism, radical black Christianity, free-love, unilateral disarmament, abortion, vegetarianism, mopery and dopery, gay marriage, polygamy, pacifism, bestiality, voodoo, pedophilia, misogyny, miscegenation, kiddie-porn, socialism, globalization, isolationism, high taxes and foreign languages, down the throats of God Fearing Americans.

However. That doesn't change the fact that the obstructionist Republicriminals are feeding the 20%ers another line of shite, and our trolls prove that the propaganda is working.

I don't think any reasonable person is saying, "never drill anywhere". But there are some questions that have not been satisfactorily answered:

What drilling resources, beyond existing and planned infrastructure, will be used in these set-aside areas? Is there a legitimate reason to open restricted areas at this time? Can the oil interests within our government be trusted to make an impartial decision?

Once those questions are satisfactorily answered we can move on to financing. Based on past performance we can expect every oil-soaked lobbiest in Washington will get carpel tunnel from pouring Champaigne trying to convince the "responsible conservatives" that the taxpayers should cover the development costs. And even if the oil industry is forced to cover the costs (in 30-50 years when it becomes more profitable), the consumers will pay at the back end through higher pump prices.

Of course, anyone who's bothered to educate themselves on the subject already knew that.
