Eight years ago today, President Bush delivered his acceptance speech at the 2000 Republican National Convention. John Perr notes this pledge from Bush:
So when I put my hand on the Bible, I will swear to not only uphold the laws of our land, I will swear to uphold the honor and dignity of the office to which I have been elected, so help me God.
In the speech, Bush also said, “A generation shaped by Vietnam must remember the lessons of Vietnam: When America uses force in the world, the cause must be just, the goal must be clear, and the victory must be overwhelming.” (The picture on the right is of Bush shaking hands with McCain at the conclusion of the 2000 RNC Convention.)
I will swear to uphold the honor and dignity of the office to which I have been elected
The first lie among legion.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:21 amChristain supporters of bush got anything to say about this? If you still believe that bush is a christain then you might as well have been with jimmy jones.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:28 amProblem is those behind Bush, the ones who are in control, did not EVER have any intention of the oath of office.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:29 amMeant” …did not ever have any intention to honor the oath of office.”
I need my COFFEE!
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:30 amMay he suffer a stroke the day after he leaves office, being fully aware yet unable to move. May he then live a very long life. Even then will he only have barely begun to balance karma.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:31 am“… to which I have been elected, so help me God.”
Ah, you see, he really never was elected – therein lies the rub. “… so help me God” is just pandering.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:34 amSo when I put my hand on the Bible, I will swear to destroy the Constitution and The Bill of Rights, I will swear to create 9/11 and destroy our economy and our Moral standing in the world so help me God.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:36 amBush also said, “A generation shaped by Vietnam must remember the lessons of Vietnam:
That you didn’t go , coward ?
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:36 amAll that GDumbya has managed to do over the past eight years is to cut the balls of the right-wing of the republican party. If there will ever be anything positive recorded about his “legacy”, this may be it.
All you have to do to recognize this is view the “political theater” of the republicans standing in a darkened Congress and playing the victims after the session ended because they obstructed an energy bill last week. The “drill here, drill now” charade is the effort of a desperate party — it’s this year’s version of Terry Schiavo and the defense of marriage bill.
The republicans are, indeed, “the new Castrati”.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:40 amEvery time this POS’s lips move, another lie is spewed. He lied when he was governor of my state, and he has continued to lie when he was appointed to the W.H.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:44 amHe needs to be behind bars in solitary confinement and his money needs to be taken away from him and his family.
Like when he calls his air pollution act the clean air act, Bush always says the opposite of his true intentions.
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:47 am>So when I put my hand on the Bible…
….just dont ask me or anyone who works for me to swear to tell the truth while doing so…
I think most vampires would be more willing to put their hands on a bible than these guys are…
August 3rd, 2008 at 10:51 amSo when I put my hand on the Bible, I will swear to not only uphold the laws of our land, I will swear to uphold the honor and dignity of the office to which I have been elected, so help me God.
And, as it turns out, nothing could have been further than the truth. The Constitution shredded, the rule of law just a distant memory, torture and death, this “compassionate conservative” knows nothing of honor and dignity.

GDumbya didn’t remove the supposed stain of the Clinton years (I assume you are talking about the blow job because–other than that–the Clinton years were very good). No. GDumbya merely eclipsed it.
Now we can only hope that President Obama can remove the putrid stink of the GDumbya years. It’s a tall task because GDumbya has managed to squander a government surplus, destroy our military, diminish our standing in the world and bring the strongest economy to its knees.

Was the President extending an invitation to islamic terrorists to join with us in the fight against islamic terrorism?
Or was the president perhaps suggesting that anyone who objected to methods the President adopted to fight that battle was not “with us”? That’s the meaning I took from that statement, oft-repeated. Perhaps I was wrong.
Can you clarify?

Speaking as a Vietnam veteran, I can tell you that criticizing GDumbya’s supposed “military record” doesn’t insult me at all. He flew a plane that had been retired from combat; he jumped over the backs of young men who had been on the waiting list for the TANG for years; and then he went AWOL when he got scared that a pilot physical would expose his cocaine addition. BFD. His military service is as bogus as his “presidential legacy”.

August 3rd, 2008 at 11:46 amThanks, USA_pat. I checked out your link and found its author’s ideas strikingly at odds with every other generally accepted definition of the term “fascism”, almost as if he were redefining the term in a way that suited his needs rather than the needs of a commonly accepted language.
You see, here’s how dictionary.com defines “Fascism”:
a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
Here’s how wordnet defines it (same source):
a political theory advocating an authoritarian hierarchical government (as opposed to democracy or liberalism)
and the American heritage new Dictionary of Cultural literacy says this (same source):
Although both communism and fascism are forms of totalitarianism, fascism does not demand state ownership of the means of production, nor is fascism committed to the achievement of economic equality. In theory, communism opposes the identification of government with a single charismatic leader (the “cult of personality”), which is the cornerstone of fascism. Whereas communists are considered left-wing, fascists are usually described as right-wing.
But thanks for the link. What did you think of the one I offered you?

August 3rd, 2008 at 1:18 pmAs for the contention that Pres Bush didn’t break the law, not only did he break it, he admitted to it, and defended it by saying it was a necessity, you know, his illegal wiretaps being “necessary” tools in his “war on terror”.
What’s more, he tried to advance the view that his authority as president trumped the law -which has been questioned and rebuked time and again:
A federal judge in California said Wednesday that the wiretapping law established by Congress was the “exclusive” means for the president to eavesdrop on Americans, and he rejected the government’s claim that the president’s constitutional authority as commander in chief trumped that law.
Judge Rejects Bush’s View on Wiretaps

Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power by means of an official all-embracing ideology and propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that controls the state, personality cults, central state-controlled economy, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism, the use of mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror tactics.

…And fascism has a George W. Bush bias.
One only has to look at the people he has surrounded him — the wisdom of:
Karl Rove, who won’t take an oath that says he’s telling “the whole truth,” ’cause then he couldn’t take advantage of his word-mincing abilities;
Alberto Gonzales, who “can’t recall remembering.” What a mockery he made of a most important position.
Cheney: Let’s dress up our soldiers as Iranians, put them on a boat we make and have shots exchanged so we can declare war on that country.
Donald Rumsfeld: The known known is that he was in over his head and only succeeded when offering propaganda to former military leaders.
Then, we move to the second tier and the herd of “Loyal Bushies.”

That isn’t the president’s duty , you uncomprehending nincompoop .
The Constitution assigns the president two roles: chief executive of the federal government and Commander in Chief of the armed forces. As Commander in Chief, the president has the authority to send troops into combat, and is the only one who can decide whether to use nuclear weapons.
As chief executive, he enforces laws, treaties, and court rulings; develops federal policies; prepares the national budget; and appoints federal officials. He also approves or vetoes acts of Congress and grants pardons.

Bush presented false and misleading information to the Senate…
Through the use of signing statements, Bush has nullified the intent of Congressional legislation…
When Bush said, “We do not torture,” he was omitting the torture memos that were made AFTER he ordered torture to occur.
Bush instituted a lexicon of loyalists in the American Justice Department, Mukasey being the latest. A man who refuses to enforce the Rule of Law who should be in prison and court marshaled, being he is a General.
With the strike of the pen, Bush signed into law the MAC which attempted to take away ALL people’s unalienable Rights to a fair and impartial turn through an unbiased Justice system(only to be restored by the SCOTUS). His signature to this legislation was a deliberate act against the Liberty of the Republic. Then again with the Telecom immunization, his signature ensured that NO AMERICAN has the Right to pursue Justice in their name should their privacy be violated, ordered or not.

Wrong….not very surprising…
Fascism – the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, corporatism, militarism, authoritarianism, statism, dictatorship, populism, collectivism and economic planning.
Fascism is the cooperation of government with bussiness for the benefit of both. Business profits greatly from government policy – think No-Bit-Contracts, and government – the corrupt ones seeking perminant power- profit through payback – either bribes or campaign contrabutions.
The result is what we have today in America, an Oligarchy as a result of a self coup d’ eta, the overthrow of a government by the government!

He already said in more than one occasion:”I know how to win wars”.
Look at whom McCain already gathered around him to advise him on foreign issues. They are Neocons warmongers who want to see World War III in the making, and idea shared by extreme religious zealots who also support McCain.

The yellowcake removed from Iraq — which was not the same yellowcake that President Bush claimed, in a now discredited section of his 2003 State of the Union address, that Mr. Hussein was trying to purchase in Africa — is used in an early stage of the nuclear fuel cycle. August 3rd, 2008 at 3:31 pmI’ve got a WMD right here, if I mix my kitchen chemicals correctly.
Will they be coming for me, next?
August 3rd, 2008 at 3:32 pmAnd this is a press conference with Condolezza Rice:
What we’ve said subsequently is, knowing what we now know, that some of the Niger documents were apparently forged, we wouldn’t have put this in the President’s speech — but that’s knowing what we know now.

August 3rd, 2008 at 3:33 pm#171 TROLL:
Why promote the “secured” yellow cake uranium by the IAEA back in the 90’s as Saddam’s WMD claim? It undercuts your credibility to assert that this yellow cake WAS that big bad WMD scare. See, the UN knew of this yellow cake uranium. Bush knew this too. Unfortunately, you don’t. So…
… you argue ignorance.
Yes, Saddam was a tyrant… but that wasn’t the intent of the AUMF of 2003.
Yes, Saddam once had used WMD’s on the Kurds… did you forget the Gulf War I and the dismantling of those WMD’s under Pappy Bush? Or have you forgotten that the USA originally sold Saddam those Mustard gas canisters and turned a blind eye when Saddam crafted delivery devices.
Remember, that wasn’t a vile of Freedom Powell held up at the U.N.
Remember, it wasn’t the State of the Union Address in 2002 where Bush promoted his Freedom agenda but instead proclaimed that Saddam was a threat to our security.
WHAT TIES TO AL-CIA-DUH?
WHAT IMMINENT THREAT?
WHAT TRUTH…?

August 3rd, 2008 at 3:54 pmIs OpenDebate an oxymoronic name? I have an idea. Why not show real debate skills by arguing the opposite of the biased opinions one already holds
August 3rd, 2008 at 3:55 pmHe’s loopy. First, he says that “Saddam tried to get Yellowcake from Niger,” then claims he had it all along.
Of course, he won’t see the contradiction.
August 3rd, 2008 at 3:57 pmHow about switching from Yellow Cake to Anthrax. We need an “Open Debate” about this:
During the last week of October, 2001, ABC News, led by Brian Ross, continuously trumpeted the claim as their top news story that government tests conducted on the anthrax — tests conducted at Ft. Detrick — revealed that the anthrax sent to Daschele contained the chemical additive known as BENTONITE. ABC News, including Peter Jennings, repeatedly claimed that the presence of bentonite in the anthrax was compelling evidence that Iraq was responsible for the attacks, since — as ABC variously claimed — bentonite “is a trademark of Iraqi leader SADDAM HUSSEIN’S biological weapons program” and “only one country, Iraq, has used bentonite to produce biological weapons.”
ABC News’ claim — which they said came at first from “three well-placed but separate SOURCES,” followed by “four well-placed and separate SOURCES” — was completely FALSE from the beginning. There NEVER WAS any bentonite detected in the anthrax (a fact ABC News acknowledged for the first time in 2007 only as a result of my badgering them about this issue). It’s critical to note that it isn’t the case that preliminary tests really did detect bentonite and then subsequent tests found there was none. No tests ever found or even suggested the presence of bentonite. The claim was just concocted from the start. It just never happened.
That means that ABC News’ “four well-placed and separate sources” fed them information that was completely false — false information that created a VERY SIGNIFICANT LINK in the public mind between the anthrax attacks and Saddam Hussein.
http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/2008/08/01/anthrax/index.html
So….Who were these Sources..who did they work for…and why won’t ABC reveal them??

A honest intellect would acknowledge the apparent contradiction, instead of offering a rhetorical shoulder-shrug.
Since Saddam had yellowcake in the quantities listed, he wouldn’t need to find more, to begin refining; but if he was afraid to access the stored Iraqi yellowcake – and give the US a reason to invade – then why would he give them an even larger reason, by attempting to procure more, knowing we would likely find out?
Address that if you can, and not with some vague, “who knows?”
Your facts are contradictory, and you look foolish for not acknowledging that.

barfly, You did not explain. People buy more of things they already have some of all the time.
Ok. Do “people” also have a world body (the UN) who prohibits them from using these “things they already have?”
Saddam could access this yellowcake (not uranium) stored in country at any time — but didn’t, for fear of being deposed in an invasion, for violating UN strictures against using it. He knew his regime would be torched if he were found to have accessed the stuff (we knew where it was stored, and were watching for this eventuality), and knew that we had a heightened cooperation from other countries, and any purchase would be discovered by the US, and used as a pretext for invasion (which it was). He also knew that his WMD threat was a bluff, which would be exposed, should he try to use the chemical and biological stuff, which was largely inert.
In this context, there is no reason (at least none given by the sad clown) why he would do it.
Zip.
Nada.

August 3rd, 2008 at 5:12 pmBefore you said the method of delivery had to be developed FIRST.
~IThinkDoYou
Every time in human history that a new weapon is developed, it is delivered on an already existing delivery method. The first nuclear bomb was delivered with a B29.
The method of delivery has to exist first. What good does it do to have a brand new type of bomb that can kill millions at a time, if you cannot drop it on your ennemies’ heads, and will have to gather dust until you figure out a way to get it over there? Duh.

~IThinkNotButYouDo
Yeah, because that’s how people proceed: Invent a devastating new weapon that has to wait years, perhaps decades, to be useful in any way on a battlefield because there is no way to deliver it.
It takes a certain kind of stupid to even consider the possibility -and by that, I mean you, IThinkNotButYouDo.

August 3rd, 2008 at 6:17 pmBy Charles Lewis and Mark Reading-Smith
January 23, 2008
President George W. Bush and seven of his administration’s top officials, including Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, made at least 935 false statements in the two years following September 11, 2001, about the national security threat posed by Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. Nearly five years after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, an exhaustive examination of the record shows that the statements were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.
On at least 532 separate occasions (in speeches, briefings, interviews, testimony, and the like), Bush and these three key officials, along with Secretary of State Colin Powell, Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, and White House press secretaries Ari Fleischer and Scott McClellan, stated unequivocally that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (or was trying to produce or obtain them), links to Al Qaeda, or both. This concerted effort was the underpinning of the Bush administration’s case for war.
It is now beyond dispute that Iraq did not possess any weapons of mass destruction or have meaningful ties to Al Qaeda. This was the conclusion of numerous bipartisan government investigations, including those by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (2004 and 2006), the 9/11 Commission, and the multinational Iraq Survey Group, whose “Duelfer Report” established that Saddam Hussein had terminated Iraq’s nuclear program in 1991 and made little effort to restart it.
In short, the Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003. Not surprisingly, the officials with the most opportunities to make speeches, grant media interviews, and otherwise frame the public debate also made the most false statements, according to this first-ever an_lysis of the entire body of prewar rhetoric.

August 3rd, 2008 at 6:23 pmIThink, Bush said Tillman died a hero, bravely facing enemy fire. Come to think of it, Bush wasn’t lying. Tillman was a hero for giving up pro football to defend the U.S. and he was a hero for bravely speaking out against the Iraq war, and those who killed him definitely were his enemy. Try reading about Tillman. Try reading more about Iraq and WMD. Did you ever hear of Scott Ritter? Reading improves thinking, especially if you are willing to read from more than just the source(s) you know you already believe and agree with. Also, proof of everything isn’t always available, but that doesn’t mean you have to reject common sense.
August 3rd, 2008 at 6:23 pmDixie, I think it will be a minute or two. It has to come up with a new Moniker. Then it will be back spewing crap and lies again.
August 3rd, 2008 at 6:24 pmPresident Bush, for example, made 232 false statements about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and another 28 false statements about Iraq’s links to Al Qaeda. Secretary of State Powell had the second-highest total in the two-year period, with 244 false statements about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and 10 about Iraq’s links to Al Qaeda. Rumsfeld and Fleischer each made 109 false statements, followed by Wolfowitz (with 85), Rice (with 56), Cheney (with 48), and McClellan (with 14).
The massive database at the heart of this project juxtaposes what President Bush and these seven top officials were saying for public consumption against what was known, or should have been known, on a day-to-day basis. This fully searchable database includes the public statements, drawn from both primary sources (such as official transcripts) and secondary sources (chiefly major news organizations) over the two years beginning on September 11, 2001. It also interlaces relevant information from more than 25 government reports, books, articles, speeches, and interviews.
Consider, for example, these false public statements made in the run-up to war:
On August 26, 2002, in an address to the national convention of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, Cheney flatly declared: “Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us.” In fact, former CIA Director George Tenet later recalled, Cheney’s assertions went well beyond his agency’s assessments at the time. Another CIA official, referring to the same speech, told journalist Ron Suskind, “Our reaction was, ‘Where is he getting this stuff from?’ ”
August 3rd, 2008 at 6:24 pmIn the closing days of September 2002, with a congressional vote fast approaching on authorizing the use of military force in Iraq, Bush told the nation in his weekly radio address: “The Iraqi regime possesses biological and chemical weapons, is rebuilding the facilities to make more and, according to the British government, could launch a biological or chemical attack in as little as 45 minutes after the order is given. . . . This regime is seeking a nuclear bomb, and with fissile material could build one within a year.” A few days later, similar findings were also included in a much-hurried National Intelligence Estimate on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction — an an_lysis that hadn’t been done in years, as the intelligence community had deemed it unnecessary and the White House hadn’t requested it.
In July 2002, Rumsfeld had a one-word answer for reporters who asked whether Iraq had relationships with Al Qaeda terrorists: “Sure.” In fact, an assessment issued that same month by the Defense Intelligence Agency (and confirmed weeks later by CIA Director Tenet) found an absence of “compelling evidence demonstrating direct cooperation between the government of Iraq and Al Qaeda.” What’s more, an earlier DIA assessment said that “the nature of the regime’s relationship with Al Qaeda is unclear.”
Dang that world “an_lysis”.

August 3rd, 2008 at 7:19 pmUS and Britain create facts to justify Iraq war: Blix
PLA Daily 2004-02-25
BERLIN, Feb. 23 (Xinhuanet) — Former UN chief weapons inspector Hans Blix has said he believes Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction (WMD) were destroyed long ago and Washington created facts to justify the US-led war on Iraq in 2003.
“I think Saddam Hussein destroyed most WMD after the Gulf War in 1991. The war (with Iraq in 2003) was in no case justified,” Blix said in an interview with the online edition of the German weekly Stern.
“The Americans and British created facts where there were no facts at all. They did not want to listen (to me). My warnings were ignored,” said Blix.
“The Americans needed (Iraq to have) WMD to justify the Iraq war. They were a virtual reality,” Blix said.

Blix’s statements about the Iraq WMD program came to contradict the claims of the George W. Bush administration, [6] and attracted a great deal of criticism from supporters of the invasion of Iraq. In an interview on BBC TV on 8 February 2004, Dr. Blix accused the US and British governments of dramatising the threat of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, in order to strengthen the case for the 2003 war against the regime of Saddam Hussein.
In an interview with London’s Guardian newspaper, Hans Blix said, “I have my detractors in Washington. There are bastards who spread things around, of course, who planted nasty things in the media” [7]

Blix: Iraq War Was Illegal
Blair’s defense is bogus, says the former UN weapons inspector
by Anne Penketh in Stockholm and Andrew Grice
The former chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix has declared that the war in Iraq was illegal, dealing another devastating blow to Tony Blair.
Mr Blix, speaking to The Independent, said the Attorney General’s legal advice to the Government on the eve of war, giving cover for military action by the US and Britain, had no lawful justification. He said it would have required a second United Nations resolution explicitly authorizing the use of force for the invasion of Iraq last March to have been legal.

The have mores are the elite, the Rove’s, the Pelosi’s, the chickhawks, the O’Liely’s, the CONyers, … they’re ABOVE the law and therefore “untouchable”. It’s a cultural identity that should have been refuted when Ford pardoned Nixon. Since then, elites in DC and their upper crust supporters have felt like THEY are the have mores…
ProA-hole is either jealous or an idealist…
Her contempt for Americana is so rich that ever her identity is being defined by her Anti-American stances.
To date no answer on the query:
Name one redeeming quality to lies…
Name one redeeming quality to usurping Congress…
Name one redeeming quality to violating American Justice…
Name one redeeming quality to torture…
Name one redeeming quality to undermining Liberty…
Name one redeeming quality, just one to any of this…
… Because this is what you defend
All I have read by her is excuses…
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:11 pmThe attitude of our 5 in 1 troll exudes an air of superiority that reminds me of David Addington when he testified at that Congressional hearing just a little while ago.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:12 pmJuly 18, 2003 — President Bush told a group of surprised reporters that Saddam Hussein had refused to permit weapons inspectors to return to Iraq: “And we gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn’t let them in. And therefore, after a reasonable request, we decided to remove him from power.” [Washington Post]
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:12 pmAlthough Iraq was cooperative on what inspectors called “process”—allowing inspectors access to suspected weapons sites, for example—it was only marginally cooperative in answering the questions surrounding its weapons programs. Unable to resolve its differences with Security Council members who favored strengthening and continuing weapons inspections, the United States abandoned the inspections process and initiated the invasion of Iraq on March 19.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:23 pmAfter bugging the Security Council’s phones the US realized the vote would be 11-4 against the invasion. Not even considering a Big Five veto.

August 3rd, 2008 at 8:30 pmFace it guys, this troll will stiil be spouting those same lies next year, since it gives the sad little clown some measure of emotional comfort, believing them. Every time you present facts, he regards it as if it’s an attempt to take away the poor dear’s security blanket. And nights in the political wilderness can get cold, so let him have his little blankie. It’s not hurting anyone for him to believe this bunk, unless he’s in some position of power, and judging by his posts, he’s too naive to be a politician.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:31 pmThe criminal super rich are totally demonic, folks. You’d better realize that before they eat you alive.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:41 pmLet George and Dick to explain themselves…at the Hague. I’ll be happy to support the extradition.
August 3rd, 2008 at 8:53 pmBeauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
August 4th, 2008 at 12:17 amSeven years ago we were attacked by a bunch of fanatics that started planing the attacks of 9/11 long before G.W. Bush was elected president. I think that the name of the President that failed to protect us was Bill Clinton. He will go in history as the only President that failed to approve that Osama be killed. He wanted the CIA to arrest him.
George W. Bush and Dick Chaney have saved your asses for the past seven years.
You don’t have to thank them.
I will do it for you.
GEORGE W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the ones who let Bin Laden get away…at Tora Bora…
you’re right, we SHOULD thank Bush and Cheney for their incompetence…
August 4th, 2008 at 1:46 amand Alfonso, the GOP stood by and claimed Clinton was WAGGING the dog, when he sent cruise missiles against the terrorist training camps in Afghanistan…
so you should thank the GOP for instigating the blowjob impeachment affair that distracted Clinton from going after terrorists…
Actually you don’t have to thank them.
I shall do it for you.
P.S. Try posting without GOP talking points… it might do you some good…
August 4th, 2008 at 1:49 amI think that the name of the President that failed to protect us was Bill Clinton.
~P Alfonso
But the man who was living in the White House at the time of the attacks didn’t fail to protect the US?
Wow… funny how responsibility falls exclusively on the guy whose shift had already ended.
He will go in history as the only President that failed to approve that Osama be killed.
And pray tell, how was he supposed to know that Obama would mastermind an attack years later?
Wouldn’t the guy who received a memo called “Bin Laden determined to strike in the US” share some of that responsibility? No? Why is that?
George W. Bush and Dick Chaney have saved your asses for the past seven years.
How did they do that, exactly? By invading a country that posed no threat and that didn’t have anything to do with 9/11?
Yeah, that is some vigorous defence, indeed.
You don’t have to thank them. I will do it for you.
And after you are done kissing the ground they walk on, you may want to consider a little therapy. Having a crush like that cannot be healthy.
August 4th, 2008 at 2:04 amchimpy proved once again he’s a liar. I knew it then and I know it now.
One has to innately have honor and dignity before one can claim to uphold it. And chimpy isn’t close to getting either one.
I mean really, look at all the “good” and “love” chimpy has shown our troops. When chimpy steps outside of paradise which we refer to as the USA he’s stampeded by his admirers.
I can go on with this story but I’m making myself sick…
why would anyone cling onto a useless oil old “party” that really hasn’t been sensible, trustworthy or logical in the the 20th century?

Exactly.
Why do trolls come on one at a time? Could it be one ahole is using different names? how can they believe mcchimpy will be better when mcchimpy doesn’t speak for himself? And they say Sen. Obama does magic.
mcchimpy is the dummy and chimpy is the ventriloquist.
