almost as if parliment took a page out of pelosi’s play book. Weird how tp criticizes parliment but supports pelosi blocking a vote on drilling, going on vacation and avoiding the democratic process on Americas #1 issue. Guess it all makes sense to tp. The whole cake and eat it thing. Nevermind the 9% congressional approval rate.

Well, what the hell? They are just following the lead of our Congress. They have one advantage, however, they don’t have a bunch of Repukes hanging around making fools of themselves (actually they did that long ago, they are just repeating the process) because they are afraid to go home and face the voters.

The development is “a setback to U.S. hopes for reconciliation among rival communities” as it casts “doubt on whether U.S.-backed balloting can be held in the country’s 18 provinces this year.”

Maybe that’s the problem. Perhaps the Iraqis want us the hell out of their business and they don’t want to set up a “US backed balloting system”.

So, I how’s that surge working folks? Wasn’t this one of the benchmarks? Oh, I forgot. The moved goalpost now defines the surge as working if it lessened American troop deaths.
