I still have a little hope. On good days.

While Bushco may appear to be the most corrupt government we’ve had to deal with, part of that is do to better recording methods and the freshness of our outrage. And even if the next generation is no better, We the People still have unprecedented access to evidence of corruption. No matter how reluctant the MSM is to show it.

If, as I suspect, Sen. Obama is elected and returns a culture of accountability to the White House? It won’t take many “good” ones WE ELECT to clean up the legislative branch. I’m afraid the Judicial Branch will be an ongoing nightmare.

Either way, I’m willing to wait another “election cycle” before I stock up on pointy sticks or incendiary devices.

NOTE: Armed troops, be they G.I. or Blackwater, on U.S. streets would change my patient approach. Same for an overt attempt to stop, or steal, an election.
