Confirmed: Cheney will participate in RNC Convention.

After rampant speculation that he would be left off the roster of speakers at the GOP convention, Vice President Cheney’s office has confirmed that Cheney will indeed attend and speak. Cheney’s office has released the following statement:

The Vice President looks forward to participating in the Republican National Convention and continuing to work for the election of Senator McCain and other Republican candidates in the coming months.

Digg It!

UpdateThe AP reports that Cheney "plans to speak on the first night of the convention in St. Paul, Minn., the same Monday night that President Bush will speak."

Darth Cheney will probably be a color commentator for FoxSnooze at the RNC convention. That's his idea of "participation".

I live in "the land of Pawlenty", too. I am sure hoping that he gets the nod for VP. That will surely bring a quick end to his political career.

Dick Cheney is a winner. The first Gulf War, and now the Iraq War. Plus two terms as VP with a less than stellar President. I think it’s safe to say he’ll be well-received. Republicans tend to like winners.

cheney represents all that is wrong with America, that's why republicans like him.

Your win at any cost attitude has trickled down to our public schools and into everyday life.

Why not admit that your gambit has run it's course and you have lost or are you not a big enough person to admit to losing even if you cheated, lied and stole your way to success?

  23. misshusseinmolly Says:

Wonderful. May Cheney have roughly the same effect on the Republican presidential campaign as Buchanan had at the 1988 convention.

  24. joe cantwell Says:

    sorry dennis,

  25. LiberalVoter Says:

Let me fix that for you dennis:

Dick Cheney is a frigging liar and a lowlife. Making a lot of money off the first Gulf War, and lying to get the US into the illegal Iraq War. Plus two terms as VP with a less than stellar President as an even less stellar VP. I think it’s safe to say he’ll be well-received. Republicans tend to like liars and lowlifes.

  26. stateofthedivision Says:

Thank heaven they moved the surprise attack on Iran up or back, so Cheney could be with his Red counterparts. If they moved it up, it could be a spoiler for the DNC event in Denver. That is, if the Democrats don't spoil it themselves with all that inner harping.

  27. stateofthedivision Says:

You're a pathetic fcukwit, no doubt.

Just talk, no substance. Just like all republicans, you say it like you believe it and maybe someone else will.

Remember, republicans invented dirty tricks and slander and are proud of it as a tool. Too bad they don't have a legitimate platform to run on and are left with nothing but to say the other guy is bad, black, popular, intelligent, ect. and still think that's a case for your guy.

Dick pretty much has got it covered, except for the pervert part. There were rumors that the D.C Madam had him on her list...but she committed suicide, like the guy who allegedly sent the anthrax to Cheney's enemies, Daschle and Leahy.

1.) You must be confusing me with somebody else.
2.) I have no idea what you are talking about. Memo?!?
    You got a memo?!?
3.) It ain't so much about the sexual tryst. That stuff is common everyday human behaviour.
It's more about the suicides. Look into the D.C. Madam's suicide. It's very odd for various reasons. I like a good conspiracy story for entertainment purposes, if nothing else.
There's plenty of evidence on Cheney on other concrete things.

  71. davidual Says:

Will they be giving their speeches in unison (Chimpy and Gimpy),like one on one side of the stage and one on the other? Or, maybe the gimpy one will come with his hunting attire in search of that lame duck that has yet to fulfill his plan of totally destabilizing the planet by attacking Iran.

I can see it now, Gimpy eliminates the lame duck and the chorus breaks into song--Bomb bomb bomb; bomb bomb bomb Iran! Cheney names himself chief executive forever and picks McCain for his Veep. O8ama who?
