You didn’t, but like I said if you have actually done contract work in any of the various trades whether it be masonry, steel erection, concrete pouring, ect…you should be able answer some of them.

The superintendents on a job site frequently are outside talking to the subs on site so wearing a tie isn’t the atire they wear. You probably think they do wear a tie because you probably didn’t even know who the super was.

Just to weigh in on the bldg 7 collapse; I think all of the architectural datum and editorial commentary is completely trumped by the words from the owner of the building itself.

Watch Mr. Silverstein explain what happened –note that as our architectural subject matter expert will agree, to “Pull” a building means to demolish it manually.

BS! The on site project manager for the GC and the superintendent on the site should be able to answer these questions and most of them should be able to be answered by any number of subs on the site whether it be the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structual erector, ect…
