I’m hoping that, on November 3, the Democrats in Congress introduce articles of impeachment for both Cheney and Bush. That may be the only way our government will survive with the Democrats taking office in January. If they aren’t under articles of impeachment, I fear that Cheney/Bush will pull of some kind of a coup and not leave.

Actually, there needs to be articles of impeachement against all of those presently in power. The articles of impeachment PREVENT the usage of the pardon.
This screws them all. Impeach the RATS too while you are at it.

As congress has not yet brought investigations to the gangster in the White House, therefore leaving them in place to do more harm and damage, I have lost all hope of justice prevailing.

I can only hope we will get through this election, with as little fraud as possible and with no horrific events.

I don’t blame the Iraqis for wanting a set time, there’s airspace to consider and other logistic matters. The Iraqis can’t leave that window opened for war or for chimpy to strike other Middle Eastern countries.

I don’t think they will do that. They know that the public might accept a 4-5% flip but anything over that would be suspect. That’s what happened in 2006. Many candidates had a 7% lead that ended up a 2% lead, but they did win. And if you counted all the Democrats who lost by less than 2%, they probably won in reality.

What we need to worry more about right now is the Republicons disenfranchising voters. Go to bradblog.com and read all about it. It’s getting really scary. I hope that Obama and their 50 states strategy are in these states making sure that everyone is legally registered to vote. It’s an easy thing to do, just call your local voter registration office and make sure you are on the voter rolls. While you are at it, verify your address.

I think most Americans would breathe a sign of relief if Cheney/Bush were impeached.

It should be done to prevent future Administrations from thinking they are above the law and considering breaking those laws.

Although the cows are already out of the barn regarding this Administration, leaving that door open for future Administrations is a very dangerous move.
