Does McCain even know or understand the issues that caused this uprising. It sounds like this is a disputed area issue. Obviously, war is not the proper first resort when areas are disputed but this seems more like a knee-jerk reaction by McCain.

Fight your way out? Always with the violence? A wet papare bag wouldn’t require much effort to escape. No violence needed.

Putin is trying to prove himself to the world. He probably wet his bed as a kid and never got over it. I’m curious how this plays out here at home. I think Mc Cain will show his maturity in how to deal with Putin, while Obama will show once again that he will either flop over what he thinks (his handlers) about the situation.

McCain will self-destruct with this tactic. Watch and see.

Not that he stood a real chance anyway.

I guess you guys would start calling in airstrikes and deploying Marines – perhaps even invading a neighboring plastic bag – to resolve the situation, at the cost of thousands of lives.

After all, they’re the ones who said that Iraq not only does not have any WMD, but also that they don’t have the capability to produce said weapons.
They’re the ones who said that any type of conflict in the Middle East would cause destablization within the region.
