Bachmann tells Pelosi to give up on global warming because Jesus already saved the planet.
TPM notes that Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) told OneNewsNow that the U.S. doesn’t need environmental advocates such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) because Jesus saved Earth already:
[Pelosi] is committed to her global warming fanaticism to the point where she has said that she’s just trying to save the planet. … We all know that someone did that over 2,000 years ago, they saved the planet — we didn’t need Nancy Pelosi to do that.

Ms Bachmann, Crazy Shelly to her constituents, stole the nomination in a “stealth campaign” where she and her associates (largely church members) flooded the nominating convention. The gentleman she replaced didn’t even know she was a viable candidate.
Then she ran against a very weak candidate in the general while gaining national support.
Yes. She does have opposition in her own party as well as a few Dems. I’m pretty sure the good people of the 6th district know what they bought and are eager to fix the situation.

You would be surprised how many of these self proclaimed reichwing christians don’t read the bible. Many rely on what they hear from their pastors in church and on TV or from a friend. Those that do read the bible pick and choose pieces of scripture and twist it to fit their hateful or political agenda. Here’s a few more verses the reich must not have ever read before.

I had pointed this out in a nuked post but, as a proud Minnowsnowtan, here goes again.
I do not live in the 6th district so I take no responsibility for crazy Shelly. She is, however, an embarrassment to the human race.
She was nominated by stacking the convention with religious nuts and she had national support against a weak candidate. I have a gut feeling that the good people of the 6th District will correct the error. Though I admit I do get nervous living just down the road from a District that would elect such a lunatic.
