A man was sitting in his house and heard news of a flood. He said to his wife “Not to worry, God will save us.”
The flood waters rose, and he and his wife climbed up to the second story and looked out a window. A man in a boat came by and said “the waters are rising. Let me take you to safety.” The man said, “Not to worry. God will save us.”
The waters continued to rose, and the man and his wife climbed to the roof. A helicopter came over and the crew yelled out “Let us drop a ladder to help you.” The man said “Not to worry, God will save us.”
The waters continued to rise and so the couple died.
When they got to St. Peter, they asked “We believed in you. We thouught you would save us. Where were you when we were in need?”
St. Peter replied “I sent you a radio announcement, a boat, and a helicopter. What were you waiting for?”

I am not saying that Pelosi was sent as His messenger, but sometimes we do need to look for His signs and learn from them.

When I see a straight blond hair/blue eyes replicas of Jesus, I think what do we have here.

Jesus loves equality amongst the people. It is not fair to over-tax corporations because more Americans will lose jobs. In order for us to continue to have a robust economy, people must have jobs. Save the Jobs!

I thought no others came before His Father. You know, the First Commandment. Yet, deference is being paid to political powers over God… as exemplified by your bias toward Republican Theocracy vs. Christ’s Theology.

Why do you hate Christ so that you prefer to place political allegiance and bastardization of Christianity above His universal teachings? Was he only preaching to Republicans on that hill?

I figured maybe jesus was a peace maker like buddah and many other teacher’s..Kind of think he must of been a hippie as well and quite possibley a socalist…Just something to ponder…Do know the bible was written by men who had formed certain churche’s to take control of the masses through fear…Also know when they were doing this and all the killing’s of pagan’s they were trying to distroy a society that was matriacal and peaceful…

I had pointed this out in a nuked post but, as a proud Minnowsnowtan, here goes again.

I do not live in the 6th district so I take no responsibility for crazy Shelly. She is, however, an embarrassment to the human race.

She was nominated by stacking the convention with religious nuts and she had national support against a weak candidate. I have a gut feeling that the good people of the 6th District will correct the error. Though I admit I do get nervous living just down the road from a District that would elect such a lunatic.
