Okay, without reading any other post, I must comment that the reason Rove made these remarks about Richmond, VA is because he is hoping to goad O8ama into picking Tom Kaine for his VP. He’s attempting to give Kaine enough Republican negative publicity that O8ama instinctively tries to turn the negative into a positive.
Rove is a slimy little sleaze ball.

Possibly he’s thinking that if O8ama doesn’t pick Kaine then he can come back and use his own (Rove’s) negative comments against O8ama in the GE, and attempt to swing Virginia red again.

Beware the slimy little sleazeball.
