The team that produces ThinkProgress and The Progress Report is looking for interns this fall. We need students (undergraduate, graduate, or recent graduates) to help out with extensive researching, writing, editing, fact-checking, monitoring of news stories, and blogging on Think Progress and the Wonk Room. Internship is located in DC. More information can be found HERE.
I’m a wee bit too old for the job, but I know you will get good ones — you always do.

Hey Faiz, if you get an overwhelming response maybe you could send some extra applicants over to Fox News. I don’t think that they have anybody doing any of these things over there! Oh, my apologies. Research and fact-checking are such foreign concepts to Fox they probably wouldn’t know what to do with the applicants!
August 12th, 2008 at 2:05 pmIf ya know what’s good for ya, just hire MissMolly full time. :-)
August 12th, 2008 at 2:13 pmpay interns the prevailing wage
As in zero (benefits too), that’s why they’re called interns and not employees.
DUH.
August 12th, 2008 at 2:13 pmKids nowadays would prefer to intern for Fox News, since they don’t have to do any fact-checking or research.
August 12th, 2008 at 2:20 pmWhen I was an intern I received a $300 a week ’stipend’. It wasn’t even called a ‘paycheck’ because i was a friggin’ intern.
Interns are there for the experience, resumé building, college credit, and networking. Anyone who thinks they sign on for the ‘health benefits’ or ‘on-site daycare’ (lol) is a twit.

August 12th, 2008 at 2:28 pmNo, I think he’s accusing you of not knowing what an ‘internship’ is. Real trolls can’t possibly be this dim.
August 12th, 2008 at 2:30 pmAre you accusing ThinkProgress of violating mininum wage laws?
Are you dumber than a used tampon?
Stupid feckless c*nt, use the goddamned google, dipshit:
INTERN: An internship may be either paid, unpaid or partially paid (in the form of a stipend). Paid internships are most common in the medical, science, engineering, law, business (especially accounting and finance), technology and advertising fields. Internships in non-profit organization such as charities and think tanks are often unpaid, volunteer positions.
August 12th, 2008 at 2:57 pmWhy do you need interns? Did TP hire Bill Clinton?
