i understand it’s early in the game, but i HAVE noticed that you are keeping the TP “look” and i appreciate that… it looks great!
product and logo placement is possible without being obnoxious…

i also appreciate knowing what businesses are helping to further the message and the TRUTH and so try to give back to those who help.

Corporate ads on so-called “progressive” web sites and web blogs are offensive. The worst ones have the awful jumpy java-fueled ads that are highly irritating. I won’t name names, but I am sure that many have noticed them. Sports broadcasts on TV and radio are the worst: now I just turn off a baseball game radio broadcast if they have ads in between pitches…

Slightly O/T: in the Sacramento Bee today, there was an article that said that Longs Drugs had sold itself to “CVS” some eastern drugstore chain that I had never heard of before. The Longs name is set to disappear in December, 2009. Dear CVS, if the name Longs is dropped, I will take my business elsewhere.

Please be assured that advertisers will have influence. It can be no other way. If they disapprove of TP content, they will pull their advertising.

It isn’t personal, it’s capitalist business.

Considering how many ad companies seem willing to support other liberal sites, I really don’t see this being much of an issue. For every ad that leaves another will take its place.

DailyKos ran Chevron “Human Energy” ads while the Burmese junta cracked the heads of Buddhist monks. Their defense was pitiful. Let’s hope TP does better in the ad arena.
