“Yesterday me and a couple of the guys were havin’ a beer and we thought, wouldn’t it be a screech if we made a spoof call to Obama HQ pretending to be Powell saying he’d like to speak at the Convention. So we did. I don’t know whether they believed us or not, but since Bubba was so drunk he was belching down the phone we don’t think so.”

Sigh. Kristol is about as believable as Attila the Hun saying he’s taking up crochet.

I would love it if Powell endorsed Obama, but I take anything Kristol says with the smallest grains of salt.

But since this whole notion, per Kristol, of Sunnis and Shias in Iraq not getting along is just doofus pop psychology from a buncha longhairs who aren’t Serious People, I think I’ll take this further insight with several trillion grains of salt.

Who cares? Powell has destroyed whatever reputation he once had when he drank the Kool-Aid for Bush.

You’re making modications to your site in all of these unforseen areas, with the heavily mentioned concerns going unaddressed:

(1) Fixing the ‘Top Rating’ feature to actually sort the posts, and

(2) Your comment is awaiting moderation is waaay to restrictive. It makes many frustrated to feel that their insightful postings are going unnoticed, and to be stuck randomly plucking words from their posts just to make it though a puzzling filter. This is the third time I’ve dealt with this today.

Let’s review:

the article reports that Kristol says “I’m hearing from people who talked directly to the Obama campaign, that Colin Powell will endorse Sen. Obama”

Gen. Powell’s spokesman denies the report.

Thus we have the following possibilities:

1) someone at the Obama campaign lied to Kristol’s source.

2) Kristol’s source lied to Kristol

3) Kristol lied about the source

4) Powell’s spokesman lied, and the general will endorse Obama.

Seeing as this is William the Bloody we’re talking about, I wouldn’t count on the last one. But it is still a possibility.

So, to sum up, we have four potential liars, but for some reason, the new troll name (who has wisely prepared a modular handle in anticipation of future bannings) thinks it is “clear” which one of the four is lying.

That’s some trollvoyance.
