McGrampa has lost it - he says he's proud of his lobbyist campaign staff. He claims to support campaign reform, but he has a staff of lobbyists with dubious loyalties and connections -- he is not a man to be believed.

McCain is "All sold out," as the Rolling Stones used to sing... McCain has started his very own war: he encouraged and cheerleaded for the recent Georgian war on South Ossetia, in which thousands of South Ossetians were murdered and almost 90% of the buildings in the capital, Tskhinvali, were totally destroyed. Heck of a warmongering, John. Mikhail Saskashvili, the President of the Republic of Georgia, is another worthless lying war criminal, cut from the same cloth as McCain, Bush, Cheney and Rice.

McCain is so proud of his corruption. That’s our republicans.</em>

He is right to embrace his corruption. His involvement in the Keating 5 scandal is what made him famous. He would not be running for President now, if it were not for that corrupt episode in his life.

Reporter: Senator McCain...are you proud of having a conflict of interest like this within your own campaign?

McCain: I don't consider this to be a conflict at all. In fact, the only conflict I see is in Iraq. I want the surge to be seen on the level of the Normandy invasion or the battle of Gettysburg. So do I see what my people did for me to pocket money for themselves...and maybe me, as against my core values? Haha, no. Now a real "conflict of interest" is what my wife Cindy should wear on a daily basis. Women...they are funny thingamaboos!

<em>"And I’m so proud that so many of my friends have done so..."</em>

Wait a minute, is McStain referring to "my friends" as in me? He's always calling me his "friend".

Or is he referring to his lobbyist buddies? Or <em>his</em> press?

Now that I think about it, I don't feel so special anymore. Looks like McStain has lots of "my friends".

I'd like them locked up, too, Christopher,

However, I don't buy that it is 'democracy' that PNAC is trying to shove down the throats of foreign countries, but rather lessez-faire crony capitalism. The essense of PNAC is using the US Military to benefit foreign billionaires and millionaires at the expense of their domestic populations. The is a recipe for massive disaffected and radicalized foreign populations with no power other than home-grown terrorism.

Read what Naomi Klein has to say about that, unless you want to sleep soundly at night.

The media likes to treat McCain like a 'loveable old coot', but the people behind the scenes are not just money-grubbing lobbiests, but seriously misguided and dangerous individuals.

We spend as much money on our military as the rest of the world combined. That military is going toward protecting unsavory oligarks who are, in turn, financing the neo-con's control of US politics. This has GOT to STOP!

On Friday, Ruth Marcus was on as the leftward side of the political analysis that is usually Mark Shields spot. And she said that no one who knows John McCain would ever think he could be influenced by a lobbyist. And Jim Lehrer and the other analysts all laughed congenially together.

This is why McCain will win. Journalists of stature think they know all they need to know about John McCain. He's been around for 3o yers and they permananetly made up there minds that he has honor and integrity some time ago and they view everything he says and does through that template and nothing will change that. All the voters who have never heard of the Keating Five or never heard that McCain was a womanizing adulterer or don't know of his astongishing wealth or that he dumped his disabled wife will never hear of these things on TV or in a general news paper, because the press is confident that they know their man.

It is truly horrifying.

See, this is where Obama needs to be attacking and attacking very hard. Nothing, nothing has been made out of the money paid to the big S. This should be a constant refrain. McCain will get away with the dodge that he supports the cause and thus there is nothing wrong with the lobbyist as his adviser.

As long as lobbyists keep lining McCain's pockets he will enthusiatically support them. That proves the only issues he backs are from the highest bidders. Which have nothing to do with democracy and freedom.

The article also mentioned that Scheunemann was an official with the Project for a New American Century after McCain's 2000 campaign.

So, a the foreign policy of a McCain administration would essentially be Bush WITHOUT Colin Powell and Brent Skocroft.

"... Bomb, bomb, bomb, ... bomb, bomb Iran - heh, heh."

This is NOT a joke, folks! Read up on PNAC if you haven't heard of it.
