If you’re referring to Karl Schwarz’ articles, if they are true, how will we ever know unless the news media gets involved without bias? The original Colorado River Compact over-estimated the average flow of the river. Because of climate change, the lower basin states like Arizona are getting their allocations cut. Of course it needs to be re-negotiated, suggesting it is merely impolitic but not necessarily anti-environmental.

Anyone who tries to talk authoritatively about water issues, in the Western US, better know what the heck they are talking about. You a talking about a resource worth trillions of dollars. It also is a key issue with the environmental community and native Americans. It looks to me like a staffer (who does not have a clue), handed McCain (who knows even less) a talking point. They stepped in a big, smelly pile. Do I hear the trumpets blowing ‘retreat’?
