Stephanie Miller looks good, but I’m not going to miss being up early enough to have to choose between Miller on Nova and Lionel on Air Am when I start back to work on my night shifts. Miller’s crew seems to try to be too much like the Howard Stern Show sometimes. I get up at 11:00 (central) just to turn on Hartmann. If I miss the later part of his show, I get off work at 3AM and catch the rerun on Air Am til 5. I get a bit of Randi Rhodes before leaving for work, and the rest I only hear on the “Best Of” segments on the weekend.

Agree. I can’t listen to Malloy for more than a few minutes at a time. He’s not much better than a left-wing Limbaugh, in my opinion. Thom and Rachel are the class of the bunch, without a doubt. (Although I have a huge crush on Stephanie Miller and would listen to her before anyone else.)

The Clinton Administration had quite a few Republicans in the cabinet and even allowed consevatives to be hired in every branch of government (even the Judicial if you can believe that). Your Dear Leader George Bush saw to it with extreme prejudice that EVERY dept and branch of government not only be purged of Democrats but that even Republican applicants needed to be “the right kind” of Republicans. Yet you still blindly support and defend this Administration and are somehow deluded into thinking that by having a one token Independent (in name only) would be a bi-partisan effort by the Ol’ Maverick.
