This notion that Hillary’s 18M votes in the primary will not be added to Obama’s column in the general is absurd and illogical. This is the illogical conclusion that has been arrived upon: Biden had almost no votes while Hillary had 18M; therefore, if Biden is VP then he will garner no votes for Obama. Really?

This has turned into a sour grapes festival. Clinton supporters (and right-wing detractors) weren’t satisfied in the primary, and they didn’t get to see her as VP either. So, there were losers on both sides: Hillary supporters, and the right-wingers who don’t have somebody to make fun of for the next 4-8 years. But, the Democratic party has won with the Obama-Biden ticket.

Hillary’s 18M votes is a right-wing talking point. Let’s leave it on the floor where it belongs.

I have heard people (like Dubya) say that Saddam kicked out the inspectors in 1998. This is totally false. We told them to get out because we wanted to bomb the sites again. I have not heard anyone claim that Saddam ordered them out in 2003. We again ordered them out because we wanted to begin the invasion. Some Dems may have voted to give Bush authority because they were foolish enough to believe he would truly go through the UN or they believed some of the 935 lies given by the White House.
