Some Hallmark stores refuse to sell Hallmark’s same-sex marriage cards.
Last week, Hallmark began producing greeting cards that recognize the unions between same-sex couples. Soon after, the American Family Association announced that it was launching a protest of Hallmark, claiming that the company was “promoting a lifestyle” that is “unhealthy.” Now, the AP is reporting that seven Hallmark stores in Idaho are refusing to carry the new same-sex marriage card.

Every year, there is a national convention of Swingers – do you know that word, Daryll? A whole bunch of straight folks surreptitiously buy out an ENTIRE hotel, and then lock it down for 3 days. It’s so far beyond your parents’ parties in the 70’s where everyone dropped their keys in the bowl and then dropped a tab of acid.
How come no one EVER protests those events? Or could it be they don’t want anyone to know who is actually attending them?

All this talk from Republican/conservatives about so-called gays and homosexuals, never mind Larry Craig and Mark Foley, but the other evening a friend of mine — a fellow Vet — asked me, because I am a ‘Nam vet, about McCain’s POW status. Did McCain engage in Homosexual relations while he was a prisoner?
Look, I’m just asking because it may just be an Urban Legend or there may be some substance to it that the MSM will never check out but…we all know what happens in prisons in the United States, people get abused, raped…and using the FOX News approbation…some “people say” that perhaps John McCain was sexually abused when he was a POW. I mean he keeps bringing this up– his POW status — as if it elevates him to some sort of special stature… But has any member of the MSM actually asked him if he was sexually abused prior to his “admission” of guilt for bombing the North Vietnamese?
I know several people who were POWs in WWII of both the Germans and the Japanese and believe me they acknowledge that there may well have been instances of homosexual abuse of prisoners. So why doesn’t the MSM question McCain – who seems so quick to point out that he was a POW – about this circumstance?
It seems to me that the Republicans never hesitated to question John Kerry’s heroic service what with the “Purple Heart” band aids and all. But yet, no one seems to want to ask McCain if he was forced to participate in homosexual relations while he was a prisoner. Wouldn’t the so-called “religious Right” want to know this fact?
Some people who were prisoners will tell you that they had to undergo abominable treatment at the hand of the NVA… why won’t McCain come clean??? What is he hiding? All that needs to be done is to ask his former guards…It’s not that difficult. I mean, we already know he cheated on his wife, just like Newt and many other Republicans with Family Values…the only thing we don’t know – as some sources say, is if he was part of a homosexual ring while he was held in prison…
Some sources close to former POWs indicate that, unfortunately, our countrymen were forced to become “sex slaves” while they were held captive. I’m not certain it’s true, but it might explain why McCain eventually admitted to war crimes. If this is the case then I really feel sorry for McCain, but I have a hunch he shouldn’t be leading the most powerful Nation in the World… This should be “Swift Boated” before people make up their minds…

Naw, ther are plenty of other people who offer GOOD contrast. For example, you’re pretty good in my opinion. You’re not as radical as is Daryll, you actually listen to reason at times.
