While we were killing 3.2 million Vietnamese, I never heard any pro-lifers complain.

Here’s what Obama should do. Agree that Abortions are Never a Good thing. Unwaveringly support Roe v. Wade

AND…set as his GOAL , the yearly Reduction in the Number of Abortions for EVERY Year of his presidency…by lowereing the number of UNINTENDED Pregnancies through EDUCATION, Easy access to birth control , HEALTHCARE for ALL, and Progressive Adoption Policies.

Not by Overturning Roe.v. Wade and returning to Back alley Abortions and the COATHANGER.

The logical conclusion, if we lived in a world crafted by right-wing religious fanatics, would be that she would be remanded to a government “birthing center” where she would be forced to carry a baby to term. I’m guessing there would be no government compensation if you ended up having to take care of your 4 or 5 kids by yourself without a Mother.

Times are tough for the McCain family. Records show their budget for servants went from $178K in 2006 to about $240K in 2007. A McCain spokesperson said it was because they needed more personnel because they had more houses, not that they were paying people more – glad they cleared that up!

Meanwhile, over at The National Review, they’re hoppin’ mad about that $200K salary Michelle Obama got. It had to be special favors from Illinois legislator Barak Obama. No way would anyone just decide to give a graduate of Harvard Law School $200K per year, right?

I would like to know by what process or authority the SCOTUS has to ‘overturn’ an amendment to the constitution. The 18th amendment was repealed by the 21st; which I believe had to be ratified by popular vote garnering 35% of the states. Someone please explain to me how this process outlined in the constitution of the USA may be skirted by the SCOTUS. Is there a lawyer out there that can answer this, please?

Okay, here’s a brain teaser for good_goony 7.0, but since she’s ignoring me, I’ll make it for everyone.
My wife, on our trip to her brother’s wedding this past weekend, was just a little concerned as she was a few days late (she had her “visitor” while we were in Erie, thank goodness). But, it got me thinking. Because she has had 4 kids via c-section, and her interior uterine wall is scarred, the doctors recommended we no longer have anymore kids. Let’s take this one step further, let’s say her condition is life threatening with bearing one more child. Let’s say she became pregnant.
What should we do? Terminate the developing embryonic cells, or do we take the chance of 4 or 5 kids being raised without their mother?
