Think of this…what happens in,say, October, a week before the election if O8ama is assassinated? Any bets that President G. Bush will declare martial law to quell the sure chaos that will break out? No election until 2009? 2010? That would make Mr. G.Bush our dictator in chief. Sounds a lot like Pakistan to me.

the drugs have nothing to do with the assassination attempt al, it’s the guns the bulletproof vests, the detailed plans etc, that make it an assassintaion attempt. If it was mccain, in St Paul, and the men arrested were brown skinned it would be a terrorist plot and you know it. but becuase they’re white, and conservative (and yes, white supremisists are conservative) you go ahead and downplay it. fasist punk..

I believe in freedom of speech, I also believe in rules and laws established to maintain a peaceful society. Where does one begin and one end?? There were dozens of minor protests all over the city yesterday, there were no arrests, no conflicts and freedom of speech was not hampered by Denver. RE-Create 68 wants conflict, wants publicity. Their group falls into the same category as the Phelps family.

What is really interesting about this is, The Times and various European newspapers, for that matter have this story as N E W S (sic). If you look at CNN and the other US media, nobody seems to care much. When McCain got sent some white powder, however, frantic reporting all over the place. This time, just four drug abusing hillbillys that’s all, no sweat. The point is: Chapman and Hinckley haven’t been rocket scientists either and succeeded in doing much damage. I am definitely not an alarmist, but this is assymetric reporting.
