Palin didn’t like Hillary Clinton’s ‘perceived whine.’
During a Newsweek Women & Leadership Event in Los Angeles last March, Sarah Palin said this about Hillary Clinton:
I say this with all due respect to Hillary Clinton…but when I hear a statement like that coming from a woman candidate with any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism or you know maybe a sharper microscope put on her, I think you know that doesn’t do us any good – women in politics, women in general wanting to progress this country.

Then, should the reigns be passed to the V.P. it would have been a step up, not a step off a cliff as it will be with Palin.
John McCain has lost all credibility! There can be no argument with this.
McCain should have chosen Hilary - not Palin. Hilary is “EXACTLY” who he needs.

There are two segments of Hillary supporters that will not feel wupported by by Palin. First, lesbian women. Second, women who staunchly approve of abortion.
The remaining moderate Hillary supporters, many of whom are mothers on the fence about abortion, will find a common thread with Palin. The core of this nation’s mothers will identify with Palin before Biden or Obama.
Good luck Obama. McCain just shut down your attack dog Biden. Do you think America’s mothers will stand by and let your attack dog Biden smear Palin?

I don’t think people could really name a big, important thing that he’s done. He was mayor of the 105th largest city in America. And again, with all due respect to Richmond, Virginia, it’s smaller than Chula Vista, California; Aurora, Colorado; Mesa or Gilbert, Arizona; north Las Vegas or Henderson, Nevada. It’s not a big town.
So if he were to pick Governor Kaine, it would be an intensely political choice where he said, `You know what? I’m really not, first and foremost, concerned with, is this person capable of being president of the United States?
Yes, lesbian women will vote for a governor who believes that gays and lesbians should not have health benefits. Yeah that makes a lot of sense, Tim.

Elected officials can’t defy the court when it comes to how rights are applied, she said, but she would support a ballot question that would deny benefits to homosexual couples.
“I believe that honoring the family structure is that important,” Palin said.
