Interesting that you bring that up. Almost without exception, Democrats are for allowing women the tools that they need in order to PREVENT pregnancies in the first place. Which in turn would lessen the number of abortions in total. Education will ALWAYS be the answer to giving women the necessary tools and contraception advice so that they may make valid decisions about when and if to start a family.

No. It was, is, a full bore lie.

Implying that people who choose careers giving medical services to women, which may include the regrettable necessity of abortions, are “in the industry” to give abortions is a cheap sentimentalist trick to stir up fear and hate.

People in the health-care industry view abortion in much the same way as police view using deadly force. (I AM NOT COMPARING FETUSES TO CRIMINALS!!!) Both occurrences are viewed as, regrettable, last options. And I’m willing to let the women and the health-care professionals deal with the ethical issues.

And what I’m saying is that it’s up to mothers and doctors to make the very hard decisions involved in terminating a pregnancy for any reason. And I’ve never seen one bit (a small lump of doo-doo) of evidence for vast numbers of casual abortions. They are guardians of their own souls. Leave them in peace.
