Tell me something Acting Patriot… What current politician who actually writes their own speeches? Obama??? Where do his speeches come from?

ANSWER: Teleprompters

Get real
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Obama WROTE HIS OWN SPEECH IGNORAMUS.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/2008-08-26-obama-cover_N.htm

For the speech he'll give Thursday to accept the Democratic nomination for president, Obama wrote into the night last weekend in a hotel room 15 minutes from his Chicago home. There were no distractions there. And in 2004 he had holed up at a hotel to draft the wildly successful convention speech that catapulted him into national politics.

Kerry wrote his own speech too. You are too ignorant to be believed

You are such a sad and delusional wingnut. A great speech? Please stop, you are making my stomach hurt. What you saw from OBAMA was a great speech what you saw from Palin was a series of whining attacks and a speech long snivelfest. Only on Planet wingnut could you comapare Obamas speech and Palins and talk about a knockout punch from anyone other than Obama. Back away from the kool-aid. It destroys braincells and if you lose one more you are a talking monkey

I’m sure all the Green Party followers who voted for Nader in 2000 are happy with standing for their principles and allowing Bush into the White House.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I in no way regret my vote for Nader. The Dems picked holy Joe Lieberman to be VP for God sake. I live in Arizona. My electoral votes were already a done deal and I wanted to send the Dems a message that they have taken the vote of liberals like me for granted for too long. They snubbed us and disrespected us and you KNOW that is true. They acted like who cares what you think what are you going to do vote for a Repblican. Now I am not saying that if I lived in Florida or New Mexico I would have still voted for Nader but you Dems need to stop acting as if liberals like me OWE the Democratic party our vote. The only vote I waste is when I cast it on someone I dont believe in. I DO believe that keeping Bush out of the WH is a vote I could believe in but again I live in Arizona and my electoral votes were never in doubt at that time. AZ might become a fairly purple state soon if the demographics keep changing as thay have been but in 2000 nothing was going to stop Bush from taking the state. I dont think Gore wasted much time campaigning here.

I wondered about that. These fundie types look poorly on something that isn't the normal structure of the family with the man at the head. But it probably ok since she is Assemblies of God

Assemblies of God. I'm pretty sure that they don't think of Catholics as Christian. Hmmm. Something to think about.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for referring to Hagee as "radical cleric". Rarely are Christian leaders referred to as clerics, usually I only hear that term in reference to Muslims. And yes, Hagee is about as radical as they come. His religious message bears little resemblance to those of the Prince of Peace.

Tim43 Says: blah blah blah
September 4th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
___________________________________________________________

I would hardly call it "shredding" when the worst blows Giuliani and Palin could come up with were tired old canards about how Obama lacks experience (look who's talking), scare tactics with absolutely no basis in fact about how Obama plans to allow terrorists to run rampant all over the country, out-and-out LIES about how Obama wants to raise everybody's taxes, myth perpetuation about how Obama has no actual plans for anything, and Giulani's incredible claim that Palin's vast executive experience trumps that of all other candidates (neatly forgetting that one of those candidates is at the top of the GOP ticket).

That's not shredding. That's just repeating the same tired crap the right-wing have been enthusiastically eating up all along. There's absolutely nothing new there, and what there was really doesn't merit much of a response.

Although I admit that Romney's speech was quite hilarious. He said, "We need change, all right — change from a liberal Washington to a conservative Washington! We have a prescription for every American who wants change in Washington — throw out the big-government liberals, and elect John McCain and Sarah Palin."

Um...which "big-government liberals" does he think McCain and Palin would be replacing? I believe that would be Bush and Cheney, who are leaving anyway. And anybody who thinks he can convince ANYONE that Washington has been liberal for the past eight years is seriously delusional.

Sarah's whine came off as the kind of trash talk you would expect to hear in the halls of some high school but not even a touch of the depth and class one would like to hear from someone running to be POTUS. Not a typo, Johnny won't last 4 more years at his rate of decay.

But it did succeed in getting the white, old, bitter bastards out of their seats for a minute. Tonight's speech will be the ultimate buzz kill.

Tim43 the idiot Says:
What is wrong TP? Can’t come up with a good response to Sarah Palin’s pathetic speech last night?

A speech with absolutely no substance what so ever? You call that a speech?

And I never knew all Americans were making 250K a year....guess with Obama's tax plan since we all make more than 250K then I guess we all have to pitch in a bit more, RIGHT? A$$wipe.

<em>Tim43 Says:

heads-are-a-spinnin

Palin rocked. Next up … biden.</em>

I repeat: Continuously picturing success out of a pile of rubble.

"Executive experience" does not make for the tightest grasp on the issues, Timmy. The congress is the place to be to get that experience.

So, tell me, how is Palin going to take on the Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and an expert on the top national issue, the economy?

Everybody ALWAYS gets praise and cheers when they are in the company of people that think they're wonderful to begin with, so the fact that Palin was cheered last night was no big deal. The new darling of Neo Cons. The real meat and potatoes come when she has to actually speak for herself and stand up to someone like Biden that has a strong record for Americans that speaks for itself. When the script isn't written for her,how will she fare? I would HOPE that the journalists that are doing the questioning, open it up and air it out...realizing that they have a responsibility to us to vet her...we know the other guys sure didn't,THEN we'll see what happens:) Oh, and I certainly hope that she realizes she can't have things BOTH ways...hypocrites that they are..Pitbull with lipstick better not back away if it all becomes inconvienient for her!!!Let's just see how TRUTH and CHARACTER HOLDS UP HERE. Two things they don't have...

Mr Palin has repeatedly been referred to as a commercial fisherman, but he apparently fishes for sport on his vacation from his BP job.

I for one am sooooooooo glad that finally Romney, Huckabee, Palin and that 9-11 guy told us what the Republicans are going to do for us. I now know exactly what their plan is for Healthcare, The housing crisis, The boarder, Education, National Security, Restoring the Constitution, Big Pharma, The energy crisis, teen pregnancy, welfare, natural disasters, Iraq, Afghistan, Pakistan, Russia, China, North Korea, etc, etc,. All that information sure helped me make up my mind. GO OBAMA/BIDEN 08!
