Listen I have enough to be pissed about w/o the so-called “cable news/network news”. They are strictly for entertainment and apparently the public prefers them over the real stuff.
C-SPAN no commercials, no spin doctors, no talking heads.

We all have to look at what direction C-Span is going also. It is financed by the cable companies. The Washington Journal has had more conservative guests and “experts” making comments on all aspects of this campaign. Every “CON”servative
institute has had their persons on and the C-span hosts are truely showing their “leaning”.

Yet more proof the Repubs are talking garbage every time they whine (which is on a daily basis) about so-called librul media. What a crock– the media gives more time & is kinder to Repubs all the time. It’s as if they are afraid of them– and no wonder the way Repubs smear & attack anyone who dares to ask them tough questions. Plus the media panders to their whining– e.g. they whine Obama is getting too much attention, so the media buckles to the lie & provides not only way more attention, but easier questions (if any) to the whiny, elitist Repubs. Very sad.

Two young politicians with little experience:

One steps forward, declares hi candidacy, steps before the people and runs a long, hard-fought campaign, where every possible wart is shown to the public, down to his wife’s college thesis.
He wins a majority of the votes, and receives the nomination of president with a magnificent speech that has his bitter enemies conceding how good it was.

The other is chosen by a very rich old white guy as complete surprise. When her background is explored and her merits weighed, the party starts to howl that such examination and questions are partisan sexist attacks. She gives a mediocre speech at the convention and is spirited away to be prepped for her public appearances.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Democratic and Republican parties.

Thanks for the link. It is apparent to me that Alaska’s Legislature is more effectual than our Federal one. Perhaps Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid should take note.

Just because there is video evidence of this, do you expect the nation to believe you? You are the elite liberal media!

Why do you elite liberal media folk always focus on truths anyway. You liberals are so damned funny, always talking about:

McCain changed his position on this, McCain changed his position on that!

McCain is lying about his and Obama’s tax plans. McCain won’t explain how shipping jobs overseas creates more jobs in the U.S. McCain won’t explain how drilling for more oil will make us less dependent on OIL! How a free market healthcare system will bring the cost down for individuals when all evidence points to the contrary.

Meanwhile, we just keep spreadin the manure. Tell ‘em whatever they want to hear and wrap it up in a big ‘ol American Flag – and win the election!

My local fox broadcast station showed their usual programming
during the democratic convention, no coverage whatsoever. Last night however they interrupted their programming with a special fox news update/special and covered mccain’s speech and intro. complete with chyrons/captions seemingly written by mccain’s campaign staff. Unfair and Unbalanced indeed!

Actually, the Repubs had one less day because they were afraid of Gustav, so I don’t have a problem with it.

What I don’t like is the blatant acceptance of the Repub lies and never calling them on it. For example, Kelly O’Donnell talking about how John McCain doesn’t like to talk about being a POW.
