sorry guys but I smell a rat. Everybody is assuming she wouldn’t be able to handle the press. Why? She’s faced the press before? For low info voters and the press, you don’t need to know a lot about the finer details of complex issues. Republicans don’t do complex and details.

No, because Palin doesn’t know the McCain campaigns finer points…and neither does most of America BTW. Excellent roll out on policy through much stated biography last night. So by keeping her out of the media’s reach on the “toughies”, they prevent any hard blows from landing off of a big smiley face based on style and not substance the last couple of days.

So what do you think happens? The Evul Media and the progosphere start bashing ‘that poor woman’ relentlessly to answer questions from the Press. After a week or so, and after much pressure, she sits down with the Evul Media, and guess what? She gives a couple of zingers, no matter how absurd. To the Base and a lot of low-info voters, she wins with flying colors. “See? She’s not that bad as everybody is saying”.

The media is going to hit even harder with every campaign handler who keeps her in the McCain green zone bunker, when she eventually comes out. If she’s one tick away from being president, we need to see her in the “crisis/3 a.m.” mode, where the tough questions are flying and we see her “experience” in action…and I’m looking for that “executive” stuff you guys are touting. It’s harder to run a nation than a town, you know…when the consequences of your actions will touch millions and people could very well hate you for it.

And the Dems and the Evul Media have gotten another black eye.

Yeah, those “Evul” media people who won’t back off of the POW’s new champ because he and you say so…but if something scandalous off of YouTube surfaces on Obama, it’s a diamond mine that tells who he is immediately, correct? Lets face it, McCain’s knee-jerk pick wasn’t properly vetted and all of her mistakes could doom your hero and hopes of keeping that fancy piece of real estate. So you have to blame all of the usual cliched suspects, because that is what makes it digestible to you and still gives McCain/Palin a chance to the People magazine crowd that doesn’t find much fault beyond a few issues.

Umm, didn’t they just do that, canceling the CNN/King interview with McCain? And what about kicking reporters off the bus/plane?

I still can’t get over that McCain doesn’t know how to use a computer and Palin thinks the Book of Genisis is reality! I’m scared.

Everybody is setting the bar SOOOO low for Palin, that even her showing up will be a victory. For Palin.

The only one to loose The Debate right now is Biden. When she does not totally embarrass herself with a major major gaffe, Palin has already won. The same happened with Bush and Gore, the same is going to happen with Palin and Biden.
