27 And Counting: Palin Repeats Bridge To Nowhere Lie At Virginia Rally
Today at a rally with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) in Virginia, Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) once again repeated the lie that she opposed the infamous Bridge to Nowhere in Alaska:
I championed earmark reform also to help Congress stop wasting money on those things that do not serve the public interest. I told Congress, “Thanks, but no thanks for that Bridge to Nowhere in Alaska.” If we wanted that bridge, we’d build it ourselves.

On the Chris Matthews clip, where he’s got her saying it 7 times, she not only uses the same phrasing, she uses the same hand gesture — shoulder-high, as if signaling “stop” — and the only variation I can see is that sometimes she uses the left hand instead of the right.

If you had listened to his acceptance speech you would have heard lots of specifics the whole smoke and mirrors idiocy is nothing but that idiocy. You do perform a function though. I sometimes think wow that is just too ignorant for a functioning human being to take seriously then a deranged and ignorant poster like you comes in and repeats it to let me know yes there are hivemind morons that DO take it seriously.
