Hmmm, if getting Alaskan citizens a $1200.00 energy rebate this year, if suspending the state’s gas tax for the remainder of the year, and if negotiating a transcontinental pipeline is being a bad governor, I would hate to see what makes one a good governor in your view.

By the way, what exactly has your governor done for you and this country this year???

Ralph, I’m in total agreement with you, was just responding to the question about who paid for the bed.

I was “just saying” and, no, we don’t even need to go down that road, any more than we need to go down the pregnant teen road.

Palin’s record and her current conduct in the troopergate investigation speak volumes. But I would like to see her tax returns to see if she claimed that per diem money she charged for staying in her house as “income”.

spencers mom, I’m of the opinion that the tanning bed thing is not a good way to go. So what if she installed a tanning bed, even if she got a discount on it? Let’s let it go, and concentrate on the real problems with Sarah Palin’s candidacy and performance as governor; Troopergate. Lying about earmark “reform”. Lying about how much of the nation’s energy her state supplies. Her record as a”borrow and spend” conservative.

These things we can really nail to the wall.

Tanning beds make us look as petty as she is.

Upside, it appears that Princess TansAlot did pay for the bed herself, but my questions are 1) did she pay fair market value, and 2) how much did the electrical upgrade of the governor’s mansion cost Alaska, and 3) how much are the increased energy bills for the power to that tanning bed?

If she didn’t pay “fair market value” and the price she paid exceeded $150 less than fair market value, she needed to report that as a “gift”. Commercial tanning beds require a dedicated 220 volt power supply, and I’m guessing the 100-year-old mansion wasn’t wired for it!

Just saying…
