SIPC vs. SPIC, you’ve got to be kidding. Haven’t we done this three times?

The financial system is imploding, enough to take the air out of the room of a meeting between financial crisis managers and Congressional leaders.

The cause of this is greed. Neither McCon or Obama have identified executive incentive compensation as a player, a key root cause of risky CEO behavior. Corporate boards and regulators facilitated their schemes.

The taxpayer will end up with a $1 to $1.5 trillion tab. And for what? Meanwhile, our government continues spreading the poison of pay for performance to health care, education, etc..

Well, my friends, obviously if we have two brilliant men like this in these positions identifying this body as the “SPIC then the only thing to do is to officially change the name from “SIPC” to “SPIC.” They are right and everyone/thing else is obviously wrong.
