fisherman die at a rate of 111 per 100,000 (annual). Iraq soliders 7 per month per 146,000. Check my math, but I think I could say this:

Commercial fishing is nearly twice as dangerous as fighting in the War in Iraq.

All I’m asking for is the numbers from September of 2007 for comparison. To be objective. To get a more accurate assessment of the trends in Afghanistan and Iraq.
