It’s perfectly clear that this grandstanding was done to make McMighty Mouse appear to be knowledgeable (what a joke!) and to get him out of the debate tonight at the same time.

I’m getting really worried about this whole scenario with McBush. I’m worried that he is going to vote “no” at the last minute telling the public that he is with them and looking like a “maverick”. I hope the Democrats tell him that they will not send a bill to the Whitehouse without his publically stated approval. Otherwise, he’s going to pull a fast one on them the same way he did on Obama yesterday.

The public is not happy with this bailout, so if McCain votes “no” and Obama votes “yes”, there’s going to be hell to pay.

So, it turns out that McCain is no stranger to pulling out of Presidential debates. Apparently he pulled out of a debate with Bush in California at the last minute in 2000. His poll numbers were tanking so he pulled out of the debate the day before it was to take place.

This morning 6-7 Brave New Films aired their ad several timewith oncologists saying McCain’s medical records need to be released because of the likelihood of a recurrence of melanoma.

A lot of conditions can lead to the symptom of a drooping eyelid. One of which is a brain tumor. With what we know about McCain’s melanoma and the fact that a favorite site for metastasis in melanoma is the brain, there’s an obvious need for transparency here. Combine the drooping eye with his general misspeaking and confusion, cutting access to the press, campaign controlling his cell phone usage, and so forth…I believe a very serious situation exists.

After Bush’s speech last night, Frank told reporters that there was now agreement between House and Senate Democrats on what should be in a rescue bill, and they would be meeting with Republicans today.

TP, this is the Republican name for this $700 billion of additional debt (borrowed) added to the national deficit, and someday repayable by American citizens. It is a BAILOUT!!! Focus group tested term: “rescue;” so much more acceptable to the public than “bailout.” Kind of like “enhanced interrogation” versus “torture. If TP is going to adopt the Right’s language, then I think I may stop frequenting this blog.

sorry o/t, but riddle me this:

Refining capacity has been reduced (Gulf damage from hurricanes) which restricts supply causing gasoline shortages in the southeast.
So as the OPEC reduces it’s output and supply running tight, why are pump prices dropping?

Reporters should demand he release them.

If he refuses, they should stop treating him like a ’serious’ candidate until and unless he does release them.

In any real ‘democracy,’ that’s how it would be handled…
