ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A video on her hometown church Web site shows Sarah Palin being blessed three years ago by a Kenyan pastor who prayed for her protection from “witchcraft” as she prepared to seek higher office.

The video, which made the rounds Wednesday on the Internet, shows Palin standing before Bishop Thomas Muthee in the pulpit of the Wasilla Assembly of God church, holding her hands open as he asked Jesus Christ to keep her safe from “every form of witchcraft.”

Just heard a clip of Palin speaking about her foreign policy and Russia. It just hit me who she reminds me of and why it’s soooooo GD grating. She has a younger version of Katherine Hepburn’s elderly voice (and no disrespect to Katherine). I hear that shaky timbre and I want to scream!

Loved Hepburn, hate Palin.

Doesn’t she have a brain that tells her that makes no sense whatsoever?!? In that very brief interview she started and stopped so many sentences in the middle that it was worse than Dubya. She is f’ing clueless!

Oh, and Sarah, I live near the ocean so I know as much as anyone with a Phd. in oceanography.

In the Constitution it specifically states that States are not to enter into treaties or other types of relationships with foreign nations. She is prohibited by the Constitution from having foreign policy or diplomatic experience with foreign nations.

Palin is using the wrong word. She is more ‘aware’ of Russia and Alaska because of their respective locations, however that doesn’t not in any way translate into foreign policy experience because as the executive of the state of Alaska, she’s not allowed to.

Aside from her absolute lack of honesty, I’m always wary of those who show a inability to recognize the world as it is. I have yet to find a single instance in her public record where she has shown an ability to make good, reasoned, decisions about anything.

Even while she blathers about shaking up Washington, I’ve seen no indication that means a new spirit of bipartisan cooperation and shared responsibility. She’s just wishing for a return and expansion of the Radical Reich’s “permanent majority”. Another open season on all who don’t fit the mold.
