Prior to the nomination of JFK I, and my family, were staunch Democrats. Because of the myriad factors weighing on the times as I touched on earlier, we all switched to the Republican Party. I remained so until I first heard Bill Clinton and changed back to the Democrat Party. I did not spare my sarcasm and cynicism on the Kennedys and have enjoyed the laughter of many "bridge" jokes, however, as I am approaching the time that my next three generations have to make the same decisions now that I made then I encourage them to study the history of the Kennedy Family as opposed to the Bush Family and make a decision that will probably differ from mine. While I don't relate to Ted Kennedy in any everyday fashion ($) I do admire the GENTLEMAN and apologize, if necessary, and hope he outlives me. I truly had no idea just how far reaching his efforts have been, and remain. McCain, on the other hand, does NOTHING without weighing whether or not it benefits him personally. His character is that he does NOTHING good when no one else is looking. Give him a good camera angle, and he's all smiles. Get well, Teddy, we love you!
