If “by going it alone” he’s inferring he’ll let others do all the heavy lifting (and take credit for it), then by all means McCain is “going it alone.”

The information above seems to confirm that McCain hates Obama so intensely that he doesn’t have the decency to respond to him.

I’m not sure that McCain hates Obama. I think its more that he is scared of him and jealous of his popularity. He sure did come off as a condescending jerk last night. I couldn’t even watch the whole debate. I turned it off in the middle of the foreign policy part. I wanted to jump through the TV and slap that smirk off his face.

The comparison of McSwine to Jimmy Piersall is interesting. Piersall was a 1950s and 60s baseball player. He was “crazy”(hospitalized as mentally ill) and not a team player. He is most famous for running around the bases backwards. Crazy, not a team player and running backwards – that seems to sum up McSwine pretty well.

So McCain suspends his campaign, and the very next morning one of his ads runs on the local CBS station.

Next, McCain swoops into Washington on a white horse to give the impression that he, and only he, can save the bailout deal.

And then J. Mc. suggests that instead he’s going to bail on the debate.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Miss Katie gives Sweet Sarah the chance to clarify on national TV the “I’m neighbors with Russia so I have foreign policy experience” fiasco, but instead confirms that indeed Alaska and Russia are geographically located next to one another.

Folks, it just don’t get any better than this.

I honestly think McCain wouldn’t look at Obama because he was trying to control his temper. Even then, he almost lost it toward the end. Two other things (among many) that struck me was his almost obsessive focus on Iraq, but he also tied it into Vietnam….the war I think he’s still fighting in his own mind. I found it very strange. Of course, we knew he would, at some point, bring up the POW meme, but it’s not true that they were ALL brought back, and there’s plenty of stories around about his classified information, as well as old videos of the hearings and other testimony at the time.
