As a gay man, it’s apparent to me the Log Cabin Republicans are in it for only one reason – as is ANYONE who is a Republican. It’s the money, stupid. Why would you endorse a mean-spirited temper-fueled rage-aholic that wants to make sure you can never publicly express the love you have for your partner? Why would you vote for a guy that would like to take your adopted kid away from you if he could? Why would you vote for a clueless bimbo who thinks it a choice? You can ‘educate’ all you want – but these people (if you can call them that) aren’t going to listen – EVER.

I don’t get all this “choice” talk.

Who the hell cares if it is a choice? Why would that somehow mean that someone is not entitled to have the same rights as everybody else.

Although, I don’t know anyone who looks at someone and says, “Yeah, that’s the person I am going to choose to fall madly in love with.”

Well, to be fair, there are more important issues for our Nation than that of sexual orientation, but still…

Their website states:
“The GOP rose to power because it embraced the ideals of equality imagined by our nation’s founding fathers and ensured by our Constitution. When Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, a ‘new birth of freedom,’ was indeed given to our country. Now, more than 150 years later, the GOP has another chance to choose fairness over discrimination, equality over bigotry, hope over fear, and freedom over oppression.”

Get a clue… Lincoln would not recognize this party as it exists today.

In the same breath, Bible Spice said people choose to be gay the way some people choose to be terrorists. Come on, Tinker Toys! Snap out of it! Listen to the words she’s saying, and stop thinking how cute you and your life partner are going to be as the Governor Hatin’ and her preggo daughter.

Again, I think that’s where the vast majority of Americans are on this issue-they simply don’t know whether people choose to be gay.

Really? I think if you polled America, they’d be pretty specific – and demonstably vocal – about whether they believed it was a choice or not.
