Fred Korematsu’s connviction should have never been upheld. I find it strange that even Bill Douglas voted for Japanese internment. The decision was based on prosecutorial misconduct. I’m glad that reparations were finally made and that our Aleut elders, who were forcibly removed to Sitka, received payments as well.

As far as Dred Scott, Plessy v. Ferguson and Brown v. Board of Education, I’ve already said, “I don’t do black guys.”*

Caribou Barbie should not even be in this place. This is a cruel joke on all American women. What did they pick? An airhead with good legs (but shitty taste in clothes). Real women with real substance are out there but might not fit some focus group idea of womanhood. Barbie is merely a joke. Ok, to be fair here, my problem here is not necessarily that she couldn’t think of a case she disagreed with (on the spot all I could think of was “Plessy V. Ferguson – separate but equal”); my problem lies with her not being honest.

Simply saying that “I am embarrassed, but I can’t think of anything right now” is much more respectable than the crap she spewed out. This is a systemic problem I have seen all over the place. Haven’t we had enough people that can’t admit that they don’t know or have made a mistake?
