For Sarah Palin, last night’s debate was an open-book exam. She spent much of the evening methodically reading and rehearsing answers from “carefully scripted talking points.” Palin’s notes were largely hidden from plain view, resting behind the lectern where she stood.
Because the cable and network television stations did not show a split screen of the debate, most viewers could not see that, during Joe Biden’s answers, Palin spent almost all her time looking down and studiously reading her notes. But viewers did see that when Palin delivered her answers, she would repeatedly glance down to check her talking points.
ThinkProgress has compiled a video documenting some of the instances where it was clear to the audience that Palin was propped up by written responses. Watch a video compilation:
Politico reports that “on at least ten occasions, Palin gave answers that were nonspecific, completely generic, pivoted away from the question at hand, or simply ignored it: on global warming, an Iraq exit strategy, Iran and Pakistan, Iranian diplomacy, Israel-Palestine (and a follow-up), the nuclear trigger, interventionism, Cheney’s vice presidency and her own greatest weakness.”
“The problem for Mrs Palin, however, is that she often seemed to run out of talking points – at which point her answers would devolve into the confusing ‘blizzards of words,’” writes Newsweek’s Andrew Romano.
ThinkProgress has compiled a video documenting some of the instances where it was clear to the audience that Palin was propped up by written responses. Watch a video compilation:
some instances? how about the ENTIRE night! she had a third leg up there with her all night propping her up.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:40 pmwhy i switched to cspan – the split screen is invaluable…
settle it now: are notes allowed to be brought it to the debate?
i know that i saw joe using a large white legal pad to write notes during the debate…
WHAT WAS SHE READING?
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:41 pmI reckon if you counted the number of times she prefaced her remark with “Again,” you have a pretty complete index of every time she offered non-responsive boilerpoate instead of actually answering a question.
I din’t/could’nt watch/listen. Why? With the bar so low that a cockroach couldn’t have scuttled under it, she couldn’t fail. But it’s her style and I’ll betcha it played out…
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:45 pmThe one thing I found out about Palin last night, that I wasn’t convinced of before last night, was, she actually can read…

THANK YOU
I wasn’t sure if anyone was going to point this out.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:48 pmI saw two debates last night, one for the Vice President of the USA and one for high school cheerleader camp’s Pep Rally Leader.
Sarah is dumb as a rock, and like Bush, she is too damn stupid to realize how over her head she is.

WTF?
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:49 pmRemember the old axiom:
If you can’t dazzle them with your brilliance…..
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:49 pmThis should not be about whether Palin was better than what was expected. Or whether Biden did or didn’t wipe her off the table with his knowledge and experience. It’s about who will be the second most powerful person in Washington. People say the VP decision isn’t that important. I beg to differ. The second most powerful person in the US government and not seen as that important? Do you want to run your company with a good CEO but a CFO who knows nothing of how finances work? Or a COO who knows nothing of commerce? Maybe not.
So I looked at the two candidates with two questions in mind:
1. Who would best be able to help a President achieve the change he is promising?
2. Who do you want to make the decisions and represent your country if the President isn’t there?
That should be easy.

I posted it on another thread (or tried to), but here’s another good source for why you shouldn’t buy the “she exceeded expectations” line from the MSM.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:56 pmI wish people, especially pundits, would stop dancing around the FACT that she is an ignorant, uninformed BIMBO.
BIMBO is the word that comes immediately to mind every time she opens her mouth.
BIMBO is the most accurate description of Sarah Palin.
SHE IS A BIMBO!!
(and no, I’m not being sexist because I think Dubya is a BIMBO too)
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:58 pmWell, looks like I’m not the only one who thought she was reading from notes.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:58 pmSP’s notion of a traditional Alaskan marriage: a man, a woman and a dead moose.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:58 pmThere was at least one of the Couric interviews that I watched in a video clip in which Palin was obviously looking at her notes in her lap whenever she responded to questions. It didn’t make her any more coherent, because she appeared to be reading responses that weren’t connected to the question.
October 3rd, 2008 at 12:59 pmPalin talked of tax breaks for big oil yet McCains plan will give the Big five 3.5 billion in tax breaks each.

Using notes is like failing an open book test.
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:01 pmGood point. If I can go a step further, a right-wing friend of mine this morning dismissed Palin’s lack of qualifications by saying that the whole “heartbeat away” thing is being overblown.
I just shook my head.

I totally agree. She seemed to me like a cheerleading instructor and her answers straight out of a can. People need to start realizing that you don’t elect people on whether or not you’d enjoy a beer with them. It’s tough to see but it does kinda look like Palin has something going into her ear.
http://willyloman.wordpress.com/2008/10/03/what-does-gov-palin-have-in-her-right-ear/
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:16 pmI’m a little confused. Let me see if I have this
straight…..
* If you grow up in Hawaii , raised by your grandparents,
you’re “exotic,
different.”
* Grow up in Alaska eating moose burgers, a quintessential
American
story.
* If your name is Barack you’re a radical, unpatriotic
Muslim.
* Name your kids Willow , Trig and Track, you’re a
maverick.
* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating,
you’re well
grounded.
* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer,
become the
first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a
voter
registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend
12 years as a
Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State
Senator
representing a district with over 750,000 people, become
chairman of the
state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee,
spend 4 years in the
United States Senate representing a state of 13 million
people while
sponsoring
131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs,
Environment and
Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you
don’t have any real
leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on
the city
council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than
7,000 people,
20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000
people, then
you’re qualified to become the country’s second
highest ranking
executive.
* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years
while raising 2
beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches,
you’re not a real
Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress,
and left your
disfigured
wife and married heiress Cindy the next month,
you’re a
Christian.
* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education,
including the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of
society.
* If, while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence
only, with no
other option in sex education in your state’s school
system while your
unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant, you’re very
responsible.
* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a
position in a
prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her
inner city
community, then gave that up to raise a family, your
family’s values
don’t represent America
’s.
* If you’re husband is nicknamed “First Dude”
, with at least one DWI
conviction and no college education, who didn’t
register to vote until
age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the
secession of
Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.
OK, much clearer now!

“Miss Dover’s” teaching credentials need to be reviewed after Bible Spice’s inability to understand what an “Achilles heel” actually means ……….
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:19 pmHonestly, my take was that she memorized her notes before the debate and spent as much time as possible writing them down. I saw her start writing furiously as soon as she was given the opportunity (Biden answering first).
That still only shows that she memorized them as talking points and even they aren’t something that she has internalized and, therefore, she is obviously not ready to lead our Nation in any meaningful way.
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:19 pmIt appeared to me that see was indeed reading off of notes. At times when certain questions were asked her face would light up because she knew she had the answer written in her notes. Sen. Biden came off as a stateman ready to be VP. Gov. Palin came off as a beauty pagent contestant.
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:20 pmAm I the only one who was a little unnerved at the sight of First Dude Todd on stage last night? I know I’m prejudiced, but he looked like he’d be more comfortable in a wife-beater tee, sitting in a reclining chair on his lawn with a can of beer in his hand. That Van Dyke is just not a good look for a dude who’s wife is running for the Vice-Presidency.

October 3rd, 2008 at 1:41 pmOk, I’ll ask once again. Why did they allow her to bring notes with her. This wasn’t an open book exam, it was supposed to be a debate. Have you ever seen a debate where the participants were allowed to bring in notes?
She even brought notes to her interviews with Katie Couric. The times when she was walking with Katie, and didn’t have access to her notes, was when she gave the incomprehensible answers to questions.

October 3rd, 2008 at 1:47 pmThe third example on the video from above:
She has a long pause before citing the “white flag of surrender” bull. It’s as if she lost her place on her flash cards, as is a little shaken up.
Now, to play devil’s advocate, Biden also appears to be looking down during her rebuttals, but only briefly. I do remember, tho, that when he was asked a question, he looked directly into the camera and responded.
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:48 pmDid her flash cards also contain “When it doubt, always mention maverick.”?
How bout, “When all else fails, state that McCain knows how to win wars.”?
Can some please explain to me HOW McCain KNOWS how to win wars.
October 3rd, 2008 at 1:52 pmHow many wars has he won that makes him such an expert?
What did anyone expect after watching Sarah’s interviews. Look Sarah is only Miss Congeniality not a Law Maker. She read her lines very well and Hollywood should take notice to a future actress. Now Sarah would make a great President’s wife and she could charm all the Foreign Leaders at the dinner party. As Sarah often says ” I’ll get back to you and that”.
October 3rd, 2008 at 2:01 pmMy favorite Palin line :
“John McCain knows how to win wars”
The War of 1812 was a long time ago , toots………….
October 3rd, 2008 at 2:08 pmAnd that’s precisely why the McCain camp insisted on cutting the answer/discussion period. It was 2 min response + 5 min free discussion in the McCain-Obama debate. To avoid dead air or word blizzards (”squid ink” I read somewhere) from Palin, her people had the format changed to 90 sec response + 2 min follow-up. And STILL, she ran out of prepared text and devolved into incoherent patter.

October 3rd, 2008 at 2:23 pmI’m getting so tired of the media trying to tell me that someone should be electable simply because they’re likable. For example, the idea that George Bush is someone you “might have a beer with”. The only time I would have been drinking with GW Bush would have been at a frat party, one that I wouldn’t have been invited to anyway, and I still would’ve thought he was a backslapping jerk.
October 3rd, 2008 at 2:34 pmSame with Palin. Do you pick your surgeon based on how “likable” they are? I mean, bedside manner is nice, but I want them to do my surgery right the first time. I’ll take competence over likability any day.

October 3rd, 2008 at 2:53 pmSo her answers were all prepared ahead of time and all she had to do was read them out loud. So what? I’m sure Cheney will leave her all the index cards she needs to run the country. It’s worked for the last eight years…
October 3rd, 2008 at 3:19 pmPalin’s use of country slang is an embarrassment, is this what America wants to represent us in a meeting at Geneva, Switzerland and other international meetings ?
October 3rd, 2008 at 3:42 pmWe also, wonder about the downward concentration, perhaps getting the messages for the answers? Oh, thats right she didn’t answer the questions. Shades of bush, no child left behind was the only answer he had.
I took a gander at some Reichwhiner sites and, they are busy lying to each other about how “fantastic” she was as she “crushed” Joe Biden. Plus a smattering of “Ifill didn’t let her answer”. WTF?
But, though I know there is no shortage of those who convinced themselves she was super-duper, I am struck by the almost total lack of trolls trying to convince “libruls” that she kicked butt.
Not only has the GOP campaign apparently finally managed to jump the shark, after a few hundred attempts, but it appears as though Bible Spice’s inadequacies have even dispirited the trolls.
Thank you Ms. Palin. You may be a bad enough candidate to save this country from a horrendous mistake. Please keep talking.
October 3rd, 2008 at 3:58 pmNot only has the GOP campaign apparently finally managed to jump the shark, after a few hundred attempts, but it appears as though Bible Spice’s inadequacies have even dispirited the trolls.
Even after Fonzie jumped the shark, there were still some die-hard, brain dead supporters of the show — as evidence by the Freepers and Red-staters sites you saw.
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:15 pmPretty cheap editing and a cheap trick to make your point. I could do the same thing with the Senator who took quite a few looks at the top of his podium as well. Really… I’m ashamed of you guys. Then again, the Dems NEVER lie, or cheat, or pork spend or anything like that now do they? Your all the same humanity. Besides, it’s quite acceptable to have your notes during a debate or technical discussion anyway. Why wouldn’t you be prepared?
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:19 pmBiden should have said something like “Are you using the same note cards George Bush used in 2004?”
October 3rd, 2008 at 4:19 pmWhat’s doubly amazing is that, even with the crib sheets, Bible Spice never once made an honest, direct, informed, answer to a single question.
Does anyone doubt that, by this morning, Flippy’s Chippy would have been unable to even identify a single question Ms. Ifill asked? Does anyone doubt that Bible Spice’s utter ignorance, inaccuracy (lying), and unwillingness to address the topic at hand will be trumpeted as her great strength?
And, for the record, it is against the most fundamental rule of debate to bring prepared notes. An 8th grader would be kicked off the debate team for such an infraction. And, as near as I can tell, Palin was reading notes while Biden was taking notes. I didn’t notice her with a pen, though I didn’t have every possible camera angle.

October 3rd, 2008 at 4:48 pmMost cheerleaders memorize the cheers. Yes folks discussing actual factual topics with others who have expertise in those areas being discussed may need references but not so much those just cheering on their team
Various polls, excluding FAUX and Drudge, show people judging Biden the winner by anywhere from 15% to 60%. My estimation of the average debate viewer went up a couple notches. Apparently, many people still expect a debater to address the topic at hand and would like coherent answers.
After 8 years of Bushco, is it possible that the American voter has decided that “I refuse to answer that” is, in fact, a WRONG answer?

October 3rd, 2008 at 5:23 pmEasy there Tracy_5, I made no mention of your friend…. Maybe I was unclear. You seem to be expressing concern relative to a characterization of Mr Palin. I understand that. What I am saying is that I have never read you expressing concern for the suggestions that Mr. Obama might be a closet Muslim, terrorist, communist, nonChristian, and my personal favorite AntiChrist. As you may have noted I myself care less for ideologies and more for logical consistency of thought…
Hahahahahahahaha! Let’s see.
As a young Senator, Flippy McSpin was instrumental in the Savings and loan debacle, was censured, then helped change the laws to make his actions legal which directly led to the investment banking collapse of ‘08. He also has some fidelity issues and has become increasingly incoherent in recent months.
His running mate is the target of an ongoing investigation for abuse of power and is, to all appearances, dumb as a bag of hammers and fundamentally incapable of engaging in a conversation of the nuances of the Modern World.
Are we seriously supposed to be moved by vague, baseless, paranoid, innuendos about Sen. Obama’s intellectual and ethical qualifications?
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:25 pmCome on, guy…give her a break. She was just trying to get “Media Blackout” on her Palin Bingo card!
http://www.palinbingo.com
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:52 pmObama is smart enough and his ethics are about par for a politician it’s his far left liberal ideology that’s a deal killer for most Americans.
–
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:53 pmI don’t think the polling data supports this hypothesis
Where did this idea come from that Obama is “far left”? He’s centrist as it gets. He voted for the bail-out…eh…rescue, for crying out loud!
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:55 pmActually, stupid troll. Her “approval rating” back home has tumled 12% to 15% since she got selected. I even saw one poll that had her approval rating down to 53% but, they seemed a little biased. And she’s fundamentally: dishonest, ignorant, dogmatic, vindictive, reckless, partisan, primitive, delusional, aggressive and incurious.
Her public record is very clear and her total lack of ability to address a single question merely reinforces that impression. She’s disqualified long before I even need to examine her political ideals. She’s intellectually and ethically unqualified for any high office. As is anyone who would select her.
October 3rd, 2008 at 5:58 pmfor the McCain campaign, who complains about the “gotcha” press to the point of a media blackout, wasn’t that Palin’s style all last night? Trying to call out Joe Biden.
Which always sounds perfect when prefaced with “what have I been here, 5 weeks” and “I am a Washington outsider”
Also, John McCain knows how to win a war? He was active in Vietnam, did he win that war? Maybe he should offer to be a POW for 5 years so we can “win” in Iraq.
LiberalsAreCool
October 3rd, 2008 at 6:22 pmAnd, on the subject of ideology, due to a Republican controlled White House, the GOP platform has been the defacto “law of the land” for 20 of the last 28 years. Over that time our country has been diminished and faces multiple crises of long standing with no end in sight, IF we continue to follow those same policies.
As bad as many Presidents have been, Bush is an unmitigated disaster who’s permanent campaign has made it impossible for sane voices, from either party, to try and minimze the damage. One could argue that, on virtually every occasion, Bushco and the GOP have made the WORST POSSIBLE decision. They haven’t just been wrong. They’ve been as wrong as it’s possible to be.
The GOP ideology has been tested to death and it’s been found lacking. Their results suck and, when they are called on it, they babble “Clinton did it” or some psychotic “anti-American” crap. And it’s going to take a few decades of miracles in order for this country to recover from the damage, if we survive at all.
October 3rd, 2008 at 6:28 pmwasn’t that Palin’s style all last night
That may have been the most fascinating part of the whole debate. She would serve up an irrelevant gotcha, Biden would chew it up and spit it back at her, and she didn’t even realize she had just been schooled, again. She’s utterly oblivious of the “reality based” world around her.
October 3rd, 2008 at 6:32 pmI fear I’m becoming assimilated. I’m almost beginning to enjoy the “blizzard of words” answers, when she runs out of badly rehearsed talking points.
You get that same pleasantly disoriented sensation as from a walk through the House of Mirrors, or a ride on the Tilt-a-Whirl.
It’s like someone putting a copy of the National Review in a blender, pressing the Mince button, and reading it aloud to you. It’s like the reading room at the George Bush Presidential Library exploded, and having a banshee picking up random scraps of the resulting confetti, reciting them to you in her mournful wail.
At one point, I half expected her to begin quoting Dr. Seuss. As it turned out, it might have clarified her point better if she had. The ghosts of Dali and Joyce nodded their heads in agreement and approval as she spoke.
I eagerly await the next episode of Through the Looking Glass with Sarah in Wonderland. I am certain Edward Lear, Ogden Nash and Gelett Burgess shall all surely be there in spirit.
October 3rd, 2008 at 7:52 pmUpdate Marc Ambinder reports, “Debate rules prohibited candidates from bringing any pre-prepared material with them. Only blank paper and writing utensils were provided. So to the extent that Palin seemed to be reading, it was because she had, during the course of the debate or during Joe Biden’s answers, written down some notes.”
thank you!
boy, why did that take all day? (or most of it)
October 3rd, 2008 at 10:20 pm“wife beater TEE”… look again, tracy… TEE-shirt…
October 3rd, 2008 at 10:46 pmI don’t care if she had notes, an earpiece or God telling her what to say. She is STILL stupid as they come and the worst VP pick in history. She defines dumb. She wins and it’s time to go Founding Fathers, scrap it and start over.

It’s fascinating to finally come here and see for myself what a vicious pack of dogs you “progressives” really are!!!
I suppose with respect to the debate, whether or not you think she won depends upon your political persuasion, but you people really need to get a grip!
Quite frankly, if you people who so viciously attack the character of people you don’t even know are supposed to be thye pinnacle of enlightenment, we are all in very big trouble in this country.
Actually, I know that last statement isn’t true because I know for a fact the type of vicious bile spewed her represents a small minority of folks, who simply have small minds (and a few small other parts as well if you get my drift)

Pretty cheap editing and a cheap trick to make your point.

Are you an idiot? Even the pundits AFTER the debate were talking about her continually checking her notes. Rent a clue.

“You mean the part about trashing planes, graduating at the bottom of your class, and caving to enhanced interogation?”
No his work a U.S. Senator that overshadows anything Obama has ever done which includes getting schooled in corrupt Chicago politics.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Ah more ignorant hivemind talking points from Tracy. Do you mean McCains work as a Senator with Charles Keating? Are you really touting one of the Keating 5 then snivelling about Chicago politics being corrupt? Not Obama just that he was in a CITY that had a corrupt political machine. You do know you are a moron dont you?
October 4th, 2008 at 11:31 pmTracy__5 Says:
“What I am saying is that I have never read you expressing concern for the suggestions that Mr. Obama might be a closet Muslim, terrorist, communist, nonChristian, and my personal favorite AntiChrist.”
Oh, dude I have never thought and of that crap was ever true. Michael Savage is a total jerk for that one. Obama may be one of the most liberal senators, but he isn’t some secret communist Muslim spy bent one becoming president and taking the U.S. down.
“As you may have noted I myself care less for ideologies and more for logical consistency of thought…”
Well I think ideology make a huge difference in how your thought process works, what your priorties are and what mechanisms, i.e. taxes, regulations, ect… you use to achieve your goals. I think conservatives and liberals all what everyone to suceed in life they just have different ideas on how to achieve it.

A good thoughtful post and one I completly agree with
October 4th, 2008 at 11:33 pmhttp://www.adn.com/sarah-palin/story/542179.html
WRONG Tracy her approval rating is 68% still good but NOT 80% It isnt bigotry if there is a rationale behind it and watching Sarah, I think she is dumb as a post too. IF someone thought that because she is a woman or a Republican THAT would be bigotry. Thinking SHE is dumb as dirt because they WATCHED her try to debate is NOT bigotry. Try to keep up.

Palin: “I may not answer what you or the moderator want etc.””
Correction…
Palin: “I may not answer the WAY you want the moderator want ect…”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
NO that isnt fixed because regardless of what she SAID she said it AFTER she DIDNT ANSWER THE QUESTION AT ALL not just didnt answer the way the moderater wanted she flat didnt answer it.

“Over that time our country has been diminished and faces multiple crises of long standing with no end in sight, IF we continue to follow those same policies.”
Our country has diminished? You guys always cry about this ever since Carter, a pathetic president BTW, was ejected by landslide. Considering Clinton, with his conservative economic policies for the most part, didn’t govern in the least with a far left socialist ideology, the 1990s kicked the crap out of any previous decade in almost all areas.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You really are an ignorant piece of stupid when you spew out such idiotic talking points. Socialism SKWWWAAAAKKKKK, you are a putrid ignorant parrot. Anything to the left of Vlad the impaler is far left to morons like you. Clinton raised taxes on the rich just like Obama wants to you and you want to call that conservative economics? YOU are pathetic
“And it’s going to take a few decades of miracles in order for this country to recover from the damage, if we survive at all.”
And it sure as hell isn’t going to be saved by moving to the left.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
According to YOU, then again you are an idiot. We TRIED the conservative give all the money to the rich and beg for crumbs tactics. We TRIED the deregulate everything and let the robber barons suck the life out of the economy then snivel for taxpayers to bail them out agenda. We tried it under Raygun and the economy SUCKED then we got the S&L crisis. We tried it under Bush the dimmer and the economy SUCKS and we have the current crisis. Only a complete and utter MORON would want to keep making the same mistakes.

Nothing but ignorant tripe. Timmeh what an ignorant piece of garbage you are. We already get you are stupid what I dont get is why you would be SO proud of being SO ignorant. I guess all that riding on the shortbus to school gave you an inferiority complex. You deserve one. As ignorant as you are it would be silly of you to think you can actually have a conversation with those of us with a functioning cerebral cortex. It is clear you KNOW you cant actually discuss something with your obvious intellectual superiors that is why you come in and carp AT us instead of trying to talk TO us. Its ok. You are stupid. We pity you and anyone who has to actually be in your putrid presence. Now go play nice with the other special children the adults are trying to have a conversation.
October 5th, 2008 at 4:36 pmEugeneDebs,
Thank you for making my point much better than I could have!
Your post is exactly what I’m refering to – vicious, attack dog tactics of the left as predictable as the sunrise each morning!
What you completely missed since my post obviously struck a nerve is that I was simply making an observation, not trying to engage in a discussion per se!
Get a grip, genius!
October 6th, 2008 at 11:58 pmHere’s the reason I came here:
I listen to the John Gibson radio show every afternoon and they often use the posts found on this blog as theater. The screener and John’s sidekick read the posts and bring the words to life with the emotion that obviously went into them.
It is so F’ing HILARIOUS! At first I just couldn’t believe people really talked like that! I thought surely the posts were made up, but NO! You people (and that’s a gross assumption) really DO raise hate speech to an art form!
October 7th, 2008 at 12:05 am“Sarah is dumb as a rock, and like Bush, she is too damn stupid to realize how over her head she is.”
“I wish people, especially pundits, would stop dancing around the FACT that she is an ignorant, uninformed BIMBO.”
“yeah and you gotta love the deep and caring concern of a mother who keeps “her” handicapped infant child up till past 11 pm in a public forum just for a prop…well its true the republicans EXCEL out of making lemonade out of retarded lemons …make sure this nutjob gets sent back to wasilla and never returns…”
“…It isnt bigotry if there is a rationale behind it and watching Sarah, I think she is dumb as a post too.”
Man, I can hear Angry Rich right now.
