Famed conservative columnist George Will told a gathering of Senate aides on Monday that Gov. Sarah Palin is “obviously” not prepared to assume the presidency if necessary, two event attendees told the Huffington Post.

Appearing at a Senate Press Secretaries Association reception at the Cornerstone Government Affairs office, Will offered a harsh assessment of John McCain’s running mate.

Palin is “obviously not qualified to be President,” he remarked, describing her interview on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric as a “disaster.”

There was a time when a woman could not even have a C-section to save her life unless her husband signed for it. In my view an abortion ban is one step away from this. How would you like it if you were not able to have your sperm tested to see if they swam because they were considered viable living organisms? Or could not have a wart or a cancer taken off you ugly arse because they were living cells and deserving of their life?

Get a clue-the world at large and the political arena are much more than one religiously charged position.

If I had to interview her for my company and she brought cliff notes with her like she did to the debate she would most certainly not get the job. This isn’t a seat of your pants position where you hope the people who are helping you aren’t just out for their own gain. She is running for the position of the second highest office in this country, with the very real possibility that the aging pressures of the presidential position may bring an early demise to the forerunner of her party if by chance he were to be elected. She would be eaten up and spit out, not by people in this country, but by other leaders who can see her as an obvious wink link in the system. There is so much more here at stake than likability and looking good on camera.

This isn’t high school where the kids are popular and president of the class because they are attractive.

I was not aware those were available in comic book versions. I wonder if she just looks at the pictures or actually reads them?

We’re giving Sarah too much credit to understand the political and social underpinnings of X-Men. Until she can connect two separate and relevant thoughts, I think she failed Hooked on Phonics.
