Fox host jokes about size of Sen. Clinton’s legs.»

This morning, Fox and Friends was outraged over these pictures of Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK), which the right wing is blasting as inappropriate and sexist. However, after sticking up for Palin, Fox personality Greg Gutfeld nevertheless decided to demean Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), stating, “Now if this were Hillary Clinton, you wouldn’t be able to see the guy’s face. I couldn’t resist it!” Watch it:

Last month, McCain campaign adviser Carly Fiorina claimed that conservatives had never “subjected Hillary Clinton to sexism.”

I see the children are playing “news” again.

  2. paleolib Says:

The clip does however contain one nugget of truth as the graphic concedes that Malkin is a “Hot Air” commentator.

  3. Zooey Says:

    Aw hell, I’ll play…

BTW, is Malkin doing her flounder impression? How far apart are her eyes, anyway…?

  4. unbelievable Says:

Just like their ‘pro-life’ platform in which they claim to value all life, but then support the death penalty, and reject stem cell research, health care for kids, and contraception.

Just being their usual hypocritical selves.

  5. MCMetal Says:

This while Michelle Mentalcase is up on the screen , looking like an Oriental chipmunk ?

    Good call , FAUX………….

Did she sleep through the entire 1990s?

  7. liberal traitor Says:

Gotta say that those pictures are somewhat suggestive and inappropriate.

Nevertheless, Gutfeld’s comments are also inappropriate. Newsflash to Fox News, two wrongs don’t make a right.

  8. Shayne Says:

These are “great legs” to Republicans?

  9. gummitch Says:

It’s funny, but the Right suddenly discovered something called “sexism”. I guess we should be glad they didn’t nominate Condi Rice for VP or they would have had to discover “racism”.

It’s important to realize, however, that “sexism” only exists if someone criticizes a Republican woman, and only if a Democrat comments on a Republican woman’s appearance.

  10. Gregor Samsa Says:

Call me sexist, but I need a little clarification. I just don’t see what is “indecent” about these pictures.

If I had to qualify them, I’d call them “awkward”, maybe even “inappropriate’ -but indecent? C’mon… methinks it’s the American Talibaners being prude again…

  11. Shayne Says:

Now they’re complaining because Palin is on the cover of Newsweek with her wrinkles and mustache showing and they didn’t retouch it. Newsweek says as a news magazine they don’t retouch photos. So the right doesn’t want pictures of her legs or her face?

  12. Sahu Says:

For the love of god, you reich-wing mouth-breathers… I mean, seriously–”indecent wire-service pics”? Did I miss something, or did we suddenly time-warp back to the Victorian era? I mean, come on, they’re pictures of her friggin’ ankles for cryin’ out loud!

  13. Buckie Boy Says:

Hahaha, hohoho, hehehe, those conservatives can sure tell a joke….

    Idiots.

  14. tom Says:

Typical republican approach. Apparently, they are much more focussed on what a woman has between her legs than what she has between her ears.

  15. unbelievable Says:

Shayne Says: These are “great legs” to Republicans?

You know, they have now destroyed their entire argument for blaming the victim for being raped because she was being too sexy or wearing a short skirt. I doubt they will get it though. They never get logic.

  16. tuckgraph Says:

Those pictures illustrate once again the deep divide between the calves and the calves nots.

  17. machost Says:

I think we need to call it one way or the other. If Palin chooses to highlight her sex appeal by slipping on “CFM” heels for political rallies, then the press ought to be able to display the results of that decision.

On the other hand, if she’d like to concentrate on the true issues that confront our nation…?

Being a woman with a pair of CFM’s or two in my own closet, I know EXACTLY why I’m putting them on when I do. To feign outrage over sexism when sex appeal is clearly the desired result of your actions is just more hypocrisy from the party that keeps on giving.

  18. unbelievable Says:

tom Says: Typical republican approach. Apparently, they are much more focussed on what a woman has between her legs than what she has between her ears.

During her introductory speech, John McCain was solely fascinated with her rear end…

  19. LividLib Says:

Whilst we’re on the subject of appendages, how’s about McCain’s arms? Remind me of T. rex. Not surprising considering they’re both dinosaurs.

In Bible Spice’s case , what’s between her legs is far more relevant than what is between her ears……..

  21. Nashoba nowa Says:

Total d__n bs, Palin is the one making a spectacle of herself, for all to see.

  22. gummitch Says:

And, as usual, the wingnuts get the entire presentation wrong. The legs in the photo aren’t even in focus. The focus in on the faces of the young Republicans in the front row, who are struggling even to stay awake. They’re pretty funny shots, and the legs just set the stage.

  23. A Patriot Acting Says:

Do we have any proof that those are Sarah palin’s calves? Maybe it was one of those stump speeches that Roodie Giulliani warmed up the crowd!

  24. stateofthedivision Says:

Send Palin to the Playboy Mansion, not the White House. I want the pimps gone from their CorporaWhorehouse on Pennsylvania Avenue.

As for news, FOX missed the failure of all the financial corporafornication to ease credit movement. Morgan Stanley’s debt is nearly 3x worse than crisis day, when Hank & Co. threatened martial law.

  25. upside99 Says:

Does anyone actually watch Faux & Friends?

If so, I DO NOT want to know what their demographics looks like.

    EEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

  26. Shayne Says:

They’re just pissed that Reuters didn’t retouch this photo like Newsweek didn’t retouch their cover. Like it’s Reuters’ fault that her puffy feet are pooching out over the top of her shoes.

  27. Gregor Samsa Says:

Someone remind me: Aren’t these the same morons who tackle sexism by talking extensively -and in great detail- about female body parts, while broadcasting footage of scantily clad women?

But it’s sexism when someone takes pictures of the female Republican candidate’s calves….

  28. christopher wiwi Says:

More hypocrical sexism coming from the REICH!!!!!!

  29. McWars Says:

Why is Michelle Malfunction pushing herself on every radio and TV outlet? What is it with reich-wingers? They shove themselves down people’s throats as people try to spit them out.

  32. OneCrankyDem Says:

Opps, the video didn’t show so here’s a link to the video Sarahs Mustache Scandal

  33. IgnoranceIsNotBliss Says:

Oh for the love of pete! I’m a woman and I see nothing, nothing wrong with those pics. Pure bullshit for the Rescumlicans.

  34. BrianFL Says:

This is all part of the ongoing Republican meme; the media is 100% liberal and has it out for conservatives. When they can’t find legitimate bias against them in the media, they just make it up, whether it is a picture of Palin’s ankles, or a picture of Palin not being photo-shopped enough on the cover of Newsweek to remove her blemishes. This is what the right-wing is resorting to because they can’t talk about the issues affecting people’s lives.

  35. thomthum Says:

My Fellow Prisoners, Dooshey called Malkin “Sarah”…

This reminds me of when I used to watch Superman on TV. The bad guy would shoot Superman 10 times and the bullets would go flying off his chest, then when he was out of ammo, he’d throw the gun at Superman as if that was going to hurt him.

For Fux, MyCane, Failin, et al it appears to be gun throwing time…nothing else seems to be working.

  36. tom Says:

Like McNumbNuts himself, FoxSnooze is down to the stems and seeds.

I remember that! Except Superman would duck when they would throw the gun.

one of the comments in the news busters link is complaining about the skill of the photographer by talking about the pics being out of focus. he/she seems to be assuming that the legs are the focus of the picture. it seems to me that the bored young guys in front are the focus of the photos.

  39. gummitch Says:

people who post comments on newsbusters aren’t exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer, chriswithstix.

  41. Doc Rock Says:

Fox broadcasters’ sense of taste was eradicated long ago from too much bootlickin’ of Right Wing nincompoops’ boots!

  42. cletusk Says:

I’ll take this back to the basics…

If they don’t want pictures taken of their legs then they should wear pants.

  43. kirkaracha Says:

Photos of Clinton’s legs (in a pantsuit). Obama’s, too (in a suit).

  44. WillowOrchid Says:

Palin’s legs are the most attractive thing about her. Whatr’ you gonna do?
