I heard a rumor awhile back that McCain was considering Jodi Rell for his VP and I thought, “Oh no!” – reason being that he would have had a good shot with her, well more of a shot anyway.

Jodi Rell is well thought of in Connecticut even though she’s a Republican. I know a lot of people who voted Democratic across the board in the last election, except that they voted for her. She’s a good administrator, can appeal to both sides and has been a steadying force in Connecticut.
