Speaking to the Wall Street Journal on Friday, former Bush adviser Karl Rove trashed Oliver Stone’s upcoming Bush biopic “W,” saying that it “clearly based in a reality that only exists within Oliver Stone’s left cortex.” As an example, Rove “mentioned the movie president’s use of the f-word, which Rove said he can’t remember ever hearing from Bush in 35 years.” But in truth, Bush is known to drop the occasional f-bomb:
“F___ Saddam. we’re taking him out.” Those were the words of President George W. Bush, who had poked his head into the office of National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice.
It was March 2002, and Rice was meeting with three U.S. Senators, discussing how to deal with Iraq through the United Nations, or perhaps in a coalition with America’s Middle East allies. Bush wasn’t interested. He waved his hand dismissively, recalls a participant, and neatly summed up his Iraq policy in that short phrase.
Additionally, Bush has never shied away from using his middle finger to symbolize the f-word.
This is Karl Rove. The man who would like us all to mindlessly follow his world view of how things should be in his large but useless left cortex.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:11 amI don’t care — I’m just counting the minutes ’til he gets the f*** out of our lives.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:30 amThat’s ok rovy, you are through re-writing history to suit your moronic needs. We will take it from here.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:31 amBush doesn’t like to use ‘the f-word’
And GDumbya doesn’t like to nationalize banks or spend more money than the government takes in.
But, you know, sometimes a guy just has to do what a guy has to do.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:49 amHe may not like to use the F bomb, but his actions these last 8 years have been a huge FU to the American people.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:53 amKarl is an asshole. Who listens to this guy anymore?
October 12th, 2008 at 9:14 amIf kkkarl said its not true – IT CERTAINLY IS.
This is also more proof, folks, that kkkarl, cheney, and chimpy are not really the masterminds of all the thievin’, lootin’, treason, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
Clearly, they are not clever enough, just immoral enough to do what it can to continue to further the interests of others.
And kkkarl can only make these bold-faced lies because the mainstream media will “catapult the propaganda”. Corporate media also is owned by and operated for the same interests.
This isn’t about the lying liars in front of the cameras or the lying liars that own the cameras. It’s about the criminal cabal that owns them.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:14 amI hope that no one needs more proof – real change will demand more than electing democrats.
I fully expect Obama to win, even if some states are stolen (like in 2000 and 2004).
The interests behind dur chimpfurher are not going anywhere – in fact, they will ratchet up the noise machine. They have already signed their “star” media hacks to HUGE contracts through 2012.
If you think the mighty wurlitzer was out of tune and out of control under Clinton – YOU HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING YET!
October 12th, 2008 at 9:16 amI don’t care — I’m just counting the minutes ’til he gets the f*** out of our lives.
October 12th, 2008 at 8:30 am
I’m sorry to have to be the one to bear the news to you, friend, but you/we will be feeling the direct effects of the Bushevik regime for the next 30 years.
Not only through the detritus needing to be repaired or cleansed resulting from their active policies (selling Nukes to India? What kind of fuuking idiocy is that?).
But do not forget there was a Monica Goodling at EVERY Department, Bureau, Agency, Office and Board of the Federal Government. Goodling, you will recall, was responsible for hiring ideological loyalists and religious fellow-travelers into CAREER positions in the DoJ. She was not the only one. And as her and their legacies, they leave behind ‘cells’ of Bushevik parasites whose job it will be until they retire or die to obstruct, or torpedo, or distract, or divert any and avery piece of reform in the Bureaucracy that might seem to undo the shit done over the last 8 years.
You must realize this: The Busheviks have poisoned the ENTIRE federal bureaucracy with embedded cells of political and religious terrorists whose only job it is to PREVENT any reform to the systems they were (illegally) hired to pollute, and whose jobs are secre because to the very laws that were violated to install them in the first place…
If Obama does become #44 (a BIG “If”), his first official act should be to purge the Govt of Bushie loyalists, and demand the resignations of EVERYBODY hired by the US govt over the last 8 years. Period. No exceptions. Every last swinging dick and dripping pussy, out…
October 12th, 2008 at 9:17 amtokin librul – your points are all valid and well-stated.
However, don’t go far enough – the special interests that underwrote and directed dur chimpfurher will just “dig in” and create havoc to undermine real change.
Then, when they get a chance, they will hoist another moron like chimpy onto the political scene.
Idiots like chimpy, rove, mclame, palin, and the parade of sexual deviants and stooges that provide the figurehead for the repugs/neocons are a dime a dozen.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:21 amOur economy is collapsing and working Americans are struggling to stay out of poverty and all Rove worries about is his precious president’s portrayal in a movie. How typical…
http://www.sunstateactivist.org/ssablog/
October 12th, 2008 at 9:25 am>the special interests that underwrote
> and directed dur chimpfurher
> will just “dig in”
unless there is a concerted effort to put as many of them as possible in jail so that they will finally understand that their actions have consequences..
October 12th, 2008 at 9:26 am00mpp00, well remember, millions (probably mostly stolen directly or indirectory from the US treasury) is being used to create a dur chimpfurher library at SMU.
Methodists that are paying attention are outraged – there is much more at stake here than the things people will take from this movie.
Remember, the interests that are responsible for fraudulently hoisting an AWOL abusive alcoholic/cocaine addict into the White House as a “war pResident” are not going anywhere.
We will see this again and again until we have a dialog about the folks that underwrote and directed the charade from behind the curtain.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:28 amChocolate Jesus, in many cases true – but not enough.
Until there is a public, organized economic boycott of the corpocracy, little can change and few will go to jail.
The walmarts, staples, applebees, home depost, mcdonalds of the world really don’t give a damn if you and I, as individuals, refuse to shop there.
But if it was public knowledge that sales were being impacted because people were willing to take a meaningful stand against the bad government they have co-opted, then it would be a very different story.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:31 amOh – and let’s not forget the 5 global corporats that control 80% or more of the mainstream media and even popular music.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:32 amYou guys are understandably nervous about the thugs who have been in power but they have shown their hand with the Iraq war and the nail has been set deep with the economy.
The republicans will bear the burden for it as they should. I predict(barring an october surprise that might end the US as we know it) that the republicans will be relegated to their original position of minority opposition party for a long time.
Try as they may, the republicans cannot hide from what they have done to our country. Americans are finally seeing behind the curtain as our once great country has been damaged by the greedy policies of the gop.
bush is the new hoover. It is almost a replication of history. The buzzwords of the 20’s were lower taxes and deregulation.
The end results are evident to anyone paying attention and everyone is paying attention now. That’s what the gop did not want to happen because when people are actually paying attention they will not buy into the gop agenda.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:40 amRove is an ingrown ass hair.
October 12th, 2008 at 9:41 amThe other day, Carl Rove was caught telling the truth.
The Democratic Party is a lot like a box of chocolates; you’re never sure where the nuts are – whereas the Republican Party is a lot like a chocolate fudge sundae, they tend to put the biggest nuts on top.

Or does Stone’s “W” movie preface the anticipated expiration of the subject?

I’ve got an f word for Bush he can use every time he looks in the mirror
October 12th, 2008 at 10:56 amBush mainly uses the f word around horses which scare the h out of the make believe cowboy! Interesting that the R’s seek to replace a make-believe cowboy with a make-believe maverick.
October 12th, 2008 at 11:09 amIt is amazing to me that the Bush entourage have to lie about the pettiest of things.
George Bush has never used the f-word? Not once in 35 years? Really? Not even in his 20s, while he was working with the College Republicans? That would make him the first man in recorded history not to.
Rove is clearly describing the reality that only exists in his left cortex.
October 12th, 2008 at 11:27 amBush doesn’t use the F-word. Except when he does…

October 12th, 2008 at 11:29 amIt’s funny that how the wingnuts go crazy about rev wright
October 12th, 2008 at 11:45 amfor saying “god damn america”. But didn’t bush say that
the constitution was just a “god damn piece of paper”
I would like to have seen that looped over and over on
national news.
Who gives a rats arse what kkk rove has to say?
October 12th, 2008 at 11:49 amHe’s an f-ing idiot, f-ing peanut head, and f-ing all around slime ball.
Hopefully someday he’ll be wearing an f-ing orange prison uniform along with the rest of the f-ing bush family.
If you can’t tell I’ve had it with these f-ing bums.

It’s not surprising that Bush wouldn’t want to use the “F” word.
After all, it can’t be easy to live with a lifelong history of FAILURE.

Actually Fred, the only reasons many people have awoken from their 8 year slumber is that their precious 401K, that was CREATED under Clinton, was finally pillaged over the last few weeks by the booosh cabal and the world monied interests. I always felt that in 1999 there was a HUGE awakening of the monied interests to put its foot down and take back the money that was “made” by the middle class in the tech bubble. But in actuality it was not a tech bubble, as we still have driven the technology engine all the way to today and it continues to grow as an industry. It is no overblown worth, as a “house value” is. The monied interests are flexing their Federal REserve muscle, that is why we need to REPEAL THE FEDERAL RESERVE ACT. There is no reason to have a middle man stealing our value between the printing of fiat money and then the loaning it to regular biz and people. The FED it unconsitutional, useless, and a burden to the financial engine of the country. It is NOT controlled by Congress and answered to its own board that ARE its customers. Can you say conflict of interest.

October 12th, 2008 at 12:24 pmWell you can’t blame Rove for continue to lie as the scam to rob the US Treasury is still working. It’s the microphones that were left on that has done Bush in as he uses the F word. But that’s the way he was raised and Cheney has no problem either. I love the way these Law Makers try to make themselfs as Christian followeers while the real people slip out. Yes Republican Christian Values shown by Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Mark Foley, Larry Craig and of course David Vitters. Now that’s an example of what all Americans should try to follow. Daddy Bush should his son’s that keeping up a false front would work as Daddy Bush has had a mistress for many many years with no completes from his wife Barbara who just keeps bakeing those cookies.

Why the f**k are you talking about this? Who gives a flying f**k?
You really need to get a hobby.
October 12th, 2008 at 12:43 pmI think his middle finger to the American people before going on air says it all. I still have the animated GIf image on my computer of him doing that.
I always wondered what James Dobson would have thought of his “Christian” President then. But, I would be extremely happy if that would have been the worst he had done.
October 12th, 2008 at 2:07 pmIf this basturd were to find political advantage in telling you that the sun rises in the west, he would do so; he would mock you for denying it; and he would say it always did so, but you were too partisan to see it.
To think anyone believes that W doesn’t use profanity is comparable — we’ve all seen the video of the middle finger salute; we’ve all heard the quote from him regarding Saddam; we can only imagine what he says when he thinks he’s in private.
October 12th, 2008 at 3:15 pmI like to use the f word when I refer to Dubya, Cheney, and KKKarl Rove and anyone else in their crime family, include McSame.
October 12th, 2008 at 3:36 pmA man who ordered the destruction of a nation for some yet to be explained reason, and who has had his minions turn reason inside-out to justify torture doesn’t use the F-word.
So none of it happened.
We have never been at war with East Asia.
We have always been at war with East Asia.
Ya’ll go reconcile that while the big boys find something else to ruin.
He does. And he did. And how obscene after all the horror this man has reaped that him saying “F***” is an issue.
October 12th, 2008 at 5:55 pmBush not only uses the f-bomb frequently — he inspires it in others.
As in: F uck you, Bush.
October 12th, 2008 at 6:45 pmAnybody notice that KKKarl doesn’t deny the portayal of Bush as an idiot/a$$hole? Only, “no, George Bush doesn’t use the “f” word”
