Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.11(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.

“The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.”

I think your credibility suffers when you make a big show about doing away with earmarks and then name the Earmark Queen to your ticket.

I think your credibility suffers when you claim you’re going to end the abuses of power in Washington and your running mate is being found culpable in abuse of power at that very moment.

I think your credibility suffers when you claim to be a maverick, yet morph every one of your positions to match the current status quo.

I think your credibility suffers when you accuse your opponent of “palling around” with enemies of America while you’re doing palling around of your own with special interest lobbyists, people who were responsible for the S&L crisis, and people who actively want to secede from this country.

McCain and Palin have run out of credibility. All they have left is the choir they preach to.
