EugeneDebs,

I guess you don't care how pathetic you look trying to counter a well-made argument with gutter talk.

EugeneDebs,

Only someone totally divorced from reality would say that the surge in Iraq didn't work! What an astoundingly ignorant statement.

You're gonna have to come to table with a better argument than that!

T.V.,
Apparently there has been some ficticious registrations turned in by some working for ACORN---because workers get paid by how many new registrations they turn in. But ficticious people DO NOT VOTE. Mary Poppins does not vote.

US Attorney David Iglesias was fired for not prosecuting a crime that did not exist. Greg Palast asked for info on fradulent voting in New Mexico. He was given only six names and all six were legal voters.

The GOP has taken a step backwards (or a back flip) to the racist mindset of the fifties, DaTruth, that is, if they were ever out of that infantile stage. I think it started with the McCarthy-ist phrase "If you're not with us you're with the terrorists".

I wish you guys would go to the Kristol link-I'm skipping back and forth a lot here and pretty soon I've got to get to bed.

We're paying a horrendous price for allowing the idiot's rise to power. Bush turned out to be way too costly for America. We simply can't afford the luxury of letting a despot run this country. As we speak this country is teetering on the edge of fascism.

A ruler that rises to power by stealing elections and denying voters their right to vote is a failed ruler. 8yrs of failure have been hard to endure.

Keith,,Wake up! The only people trying to swing the election are Democrats, specifically ACORN and it’s blatant attempts at voter fraud.

Unlike the unfounded and bogus accusations you throw out, ACORN is actually under criminal investigation in a number of states as we speak.

Nothing worth the wast of life it takes to read. So you dont like the mainstream non Fox propaganda news? I suppose you would prefer everybody got their news, sorry propaganda from Rush, Hannity and the Fox propaganda network? No the economy was NOT doing pretty well at least not for the working class. Sure it was good if you owned an oil company but the median wage had barely risen at ALL since Bush took office and wages were no where NEAR keeping up with costs.

Obama railed against the useless waste of lives in Iraq and was RIGHT the surge did NOT work not according to the very 18 benchmarks Bush set up only a few of which were reached the rest was smoke and mirrors sure we paid off the Iraqi militias to stop killing each other and leave us alone but how long is THAT going to last? There STILL isnt much political legitimacy in Iraq and they are just holding till we leave. Your delusions do not define reality. Strike ONE

Got some evidence that Obama was HAPPY gas prices soared or is that you using those amazing mind reading powers that dont exist to just assign a venal motive. The rock bottom stupid in debate. Let ME do that I think YOU post as a conservative because you HATE America and want to see it destroyed economically. Wow thats easy just pick a motive out of thin air and claim its yours let me try again I think you hate Obama because you are a homosexual that has a crush on McThusela having a THING for older men. Yeah its stupid and worthless just like YOUR stupid worthless jibe. Stike TWO

The stock market went up because of the bailout that Obama voted for and that is a bad thing for Obama because you are a moron and just said it is. No one wants this financial crisis to go on any longer than it has to. Again you just assign a venal motive to Obama because you are too stupid to make an ACTUAL argument or because this is what you were instruted to say by those who pay you to troll here or because it is in the interest of your masters from Zeta Reticuli its all so stupid pretty much like YOU. Strike three I would say you are out of here but you were never in the reality based universe to begin with so its more like you are STILL out of here.

T.V.---ACORN reported the discrepancies themselves. And McDepends was a supporter of ACORN.

The only ones who pulled voter fraud in the past were the GOP, how else could Gore have anegative count in that county in Florida?

wizard, if that happens, they wil say it was due to "the Bradley effect". They are already talking this up. I believe that the opposite might be true: a lot of conservative rednecks who would never admit to voting for an African-American might vote for Obama because the Democrats are so obviously better on the economy.

Elections were stolen in 2000, '02, '04, and '06 (knocked down from a 11% margin to a 7% margin). I'm sure it will be attempted again.

(via Sadly, No!)

"While all the polls suggest that Obama could win the election, I’ve interviewed several GOP operatives who shockingly say that he’s going to lose big-time."

Karl Rove resigned from the Bush administration for a reason...to go undercover before this presidential election, keeping his extensive travels off the public records, while he scurries around our nation in the shadows, working on "the math," which is Republican "code" for trying to steal another election, by whatever means possible.

Which means that if Rove's "math" involves gaming the electoral college in some way, disenfranchising enough Democratic Party-leaning voters and "fixing" enough electronic voting machines, then McCain and Palin will win by a landslide...and civil war will break out in America the day after the election in November...especially if Obama and Biden enter election day with a commanding lead in the polls...and if exit polling indicates that they won handily.

Which may explain why the Bush/Cheney administration has been putting a police state in place, in preparation for the outrage of American citizens at so blatant a stealing of the White House occurring.

Hopefully, I'm wrong, but since Karl Rove and so many other "non-reality based community" Republicans are certifiably insane, I wouldn't put anything past these corrupt, anti-American election stealers and neo-fascist police state pushers.

Tim Vacuous,
If you could comprehend this study, you could realize that 90% of Americans think you are wrong. That puts you in the lunatic fringe.

Here’s a newsflash for you doom and gloomers - the U.S. ECONOMY was doing pretty good up until the recent financial crisis.

22 million jobs created under Clinton. 4 million created under Bush. Middle class wages have dropped the past eight years when adjusted for inflation. First time that has happened since the Great Depression. Clinton did it while going from record deficits to record surpluses. Dubya did it while going from record surpluses to new record deficits.

Nobel-winning economist Krugman was warning about a coming financial crisis for at least two years. It was caused by conservative de-regulation.

OMG!!! If that many people say the country's in ruins, then it must be true!!! The sky is falling, the sky is falling!

I can only presume that a significant majority of these same people get their "news" from CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, PMSNBC ad nauseum. Garbage in - garbage out, as they say.

Here's a newsflash for you doom and gloomers - the U.S. ECONOMY was doing pretty good up until the recent financial crisis. Remember, the economy and the financial sector, while linked are NOT the same thing.

You ought to be asking yourselves this: Who benefits politically at this particular moment in history if the economy tanks?

Obama is actually about to gget his third strike, then he's OUTTA there! Her's how it may go for him:

STRIKE 1 - Obama railed against the war in Iraq and eclared the surge could not work. He was counting on the U.S. to fail and fail miserably, then he could coast to victory in November. TOO BAD! this didn't come to pass as we all know.

STRIKE 2 - Obama was more than happy to see the surge in gasoline prices work! His only regret was that it HAPPENED TOO FAST! He and his allies cried hallelujah, because the increases looked like they would go on forever! People would be mad and blame the Republicans, and Obama could cruise to victory. NOT! How's that workin for ya, Obama?

STRIKE 3 - The stock market would not start recovering from it's worst week in history for months and certainly AFTER Nov. 4th! After two disappointing swings of the bat, here was the home run just sailing across home plate! It's, it's... Ah Nooooo, the stock market had it's biggest one day gain in HISTORY today. The polls are starting to tighten again!

He's outta there!
