ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF INCITEMENT AND REP. LEWIS’S WARNING

Rep. Lewis's statement is clear about what he wanted to accomplish--that McCain's campaign rallies not continue to incite the crowd to hatred with a prospect of creating social unrest and schism. That is a noble intervention and it is timely, McCain's self-righteous indignation notwithstanding. Lewis simply stated the truth which many in the McCain camp (and some in the media) may not want to hear; but it is a statement of wisdom. He said: “George Wallace never threw a bomb. He never fired a gun, but he created the climate and the conditions that encouraged vicious attacks against innocent Americans who were simply trying to exercise their constitutional rights." Lewis’s concern was about “creating an atmosphere of hatred.” He was not saying that McCain was doing many of the nasty things that Wallace did in his life. No objective observer would dispute the fact that hatred was being stirred at McCain-Palin rallies by words—words by some supporters and by the candidates themselves. In Western European democratic systems, McCain and Palin and Co. open themselves up for a charge of incitement to hatred. What would they say for their defense should any danger or harm result from the way they have been conducting this campaign? That is why Lewis warned that McCain and Palin and handlers are playing with fire! If harm should result it likely will lead toin unmentionable social rupture. No responsible citizen wants that!

Our Plutocracy is becoming frantic over the clear possibility that its new Stooges are headed for defeat. Shrieking Sarah, grossly incompetent and apparently too dumb to recognize her limitations (or is she?), will bring with her the First Du(fus), dumber still with no credentials, a frightening duo to contemplate in case McBush at age 72 either dies or suffers a disabling medical condition. Their presence in the White House will be ideal for the owners of the military-industrial-compliant media complex, because both of them, like the current Puppet, will eagerly follow orders benefitting the upper 1% of the economic ladder and keeping dissenters intimidated and scandalized. Expect from now on the worst of the ultra-right slanders, libels, and deceptions against Obama to infuriate and lure the Dupes and vacuities to the polls to fornicate themselves and all the rest of us who can see the Plutocracy for what it really is in its striving to maintain the Gilded Age II Disaster created by the worst president in the Nation's history.

Two benefits of Sarah Palin:

1 - She is excellent comedy fodder for SNL and countless other commedians

2 - She will make the Republican party lose this election.

The chances are just as good of Palin throwing McCain under the bus. I guarantee that if they won, he might as well be on death row.

Yes, that would be a great idea. After nominating someone and getting the red meat base to build up their inertia supporting her unswervingly, pull that chair out from under that base and tell them they were wrong for supporting her. She's nuts, and so are they if they wanted her. And choose a moderate from another party like Joe Leiberman, or maybe that nice Gov. Romney whose religion is viewed as almost pagan by many of those evangelicals so supportive of Palin.

And just make it very clear that after being all for Palin John is all for whoever his pick is today, so that undecided voters can see how decisive he is in his well-researched decisions. Yes, I'm all for McCain dumping Palin.

I know true conservatives have to be mortified with Palin, but do they REALLY think there is any up side to dumping her at this point?

Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.11(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.

“The legislature reaffirms that each public officer holds office as a public trust, and any effort to benefit a personal or financial interest through official action is a violation of that trust.”

Is Palin BRAIN DAMAGED, DELUSIONAL or a PATHOLOGICAL LIAR? wtf!

I believe that Palin needs to go. I don't agree with McCain, but Palin really is a true idiot. How she even got to be a mayor, or a Senator is beyond me, let alone to be a VP on a Presidential ticket. Palin reminds me of that reality show "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" I'm sure if you asked a 5th grader and her what the address of the White House is, Palin probably could not even answer correctly. I am horrified as to what this country could become if McCain is elected and then dies, we all know his health is bad, and for her to become President. I think I'd rather give up my rights as a U.S. citizen and move to China.

Now if there’s a Georgetown cocktail party person who quote calls himself a conservative and doesn’t like her, good luck, good luck, fine.

Good luck, good luck? What on earth does that mean?

Are you aware of Alaska's most famous quotes? Here are a few:

"Life is harder when you're half-frozen."

"The truth is, we just don't worry about cops because there aren't that many around."

"Talking to trees beats talking to yourself."

"Alaskans know that alcohol is a proven anti-freeze."

"Some people claim our brains are frozen, but they're looking at it from a refrigerator point-of-view."

"There's only one chance in fifty that you'll get eaten by a grizzly bear."

"Total isolation is something we're going to have to get use to if we're going to travel to other galaxies."

"If you're going to freeze to death, it's better to do it while looking at great scenery."

"There's no one around to see you. You can get away with a lot of kinky stuff."

"Bears and chipmunks don't talk."

"A person can go on a six-month binge and never get arrested."

There are lots of others but these are some of the most quoted.

It is my goal to get in touch with someone from the Obama campaign and share with them my desire to be a part of his inauguration by reciting a poem I wrote called “We Must Change,” and I kindly ask for your help in doing so.
Go to youtube and do a search for "thinkverybig" and watch all of those videos. The one called "We Must Change" would be fitting to recite at Obama's Inauguration

Here are the words! http://www.thinkverybig.com/We%20Must%20Change.htm

Remember when we thought the GOP was toast after Watergate? Reagan came along less than six years later, bringing us the neocon era.

Honestly, no. I don't remember thinking the GOP was toast. For one thing, the GOP wasn't the evil empire then even if Nixon was the Devil. "Republicans" included people like Mark Hatfield, Edward Brooke, and Nelson Rockefeller.

I just love it when a Reichwhiner is on the receiving end of the hate they helped stir up. But, it sure would be nice to see her take the next logical step and condemn the party that has put forward a candidate who would make such a rash decision.

Alas, she'll be saying the GOP lost because Flippy McSpin isn't radical enough, and didn't use Bible Spice wisely, by Christmas. And she'll probably be pinning the blame, for the imminent depression, on Sen. Obama before the inauguration.

All the "rats" appear to be poised to jump ship. Word has it that Limbaugh is now talking big time privately about a crushing defeat for McSame/Falin. Half of a Brain Hannity next? Make no mistake about it the republicans want no trace of McCain or Palin left so that Jeb Bush gets a new beginning for 2012.

lurker, it's apparent that the Republican bugfix count has intersected the new bugs discovered count, so it's ok to release McIIIrd/Palin 2.0.

Yes, the GOP should be buried, just as their Federalist predecessors were relegated to the scrapheap of history.

She have self destructed the RNC since her nomination……

Hey -- the GOP was in tatters anyway (thanks to Bushco), and Sarah only finished the job. But the GOP will rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes again someday. How long it will take them pretty much depends on the Democrats.

Remember when we thought the GOP was toast after Watergate? Reagan came along less than six years later, bringing us the neocon era. Winning over the American people doesn't stop once the election is done. Once the Democrats get the reins of power, it's imperative they serve the country instead of themselves AND they need to make Americans aware of it. Otherwise, they will find themselves in the same unenviable position the GOP is in now.
