Iran: McCain’s ‘bomb bomb Iran’ joke could be America’s ‘nightmare.’

Iran’s parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani has responded to John McCain’s joking response to a question about what the U.S. policy should be towards Iran. “That old Beach Boys song, ‘Bomb Iran?’” McCain said last year. (Watch it.) Yesterday, Larijani said McCain’s joke could become a “nightmare” for the U.S. if acted upon:

“We don’t have any objection to them singing a song,” Larijani said.

But a real bomb, he said, would be no laughing matter.

“We are confident that if they make that mistake they will be awakened from their sleep and they will face a nightmare,” Larijani said.

Luckily, the American voters do not appear ready to give him the chance.

Chimpian foreign policy heads its ugly rear once again. Only 98 more days of this incredible embarassment left until the Repignicans are sent to the back of the line for a very long time.

That’s why Joe Lieberman has been hanging around McWar for sometime, so he can fulfill his dream and Neocons dream of bombing Iran.
Lieberman sponsered the Lieberman/Kyle act in the Senate as Independent,to give Bush the authority to act and bomb Iran.
But Bush is in no position to start another bigger and more catastrophic war in the last few months left in his presidency.
But as a Democrat, Lieberman also sponsered a resolution in the Senate which called for toppling Saddam Hussein regime in 1998.
I think this is the best song Neocons and Lieberman like to listen to,and McWar without any doubt is their best singer.

Note to Iran: Please don’t play chicken with McCain while BushCo still has 100 days left to destroy the world. McCain is a junkyard dog gone rabid and he’s ready for a playground fight with someone. President Obama will not continue these policies, so please be patient and realize that neither McCain nor BushCo represent America.

After Obama cleans his clock in tonight’s debate, McCain is going to be looking for some release from his anger.

I guess he’ll go kick the dog again.

    PEACE

  6. The Dogfather says:

Spencers Mom @#7: you’ve had another nail-on-the-head moment here; I completely expect the October (or November, December or early January) Surprise to be BushCo going out in a blaze of glory, with or without Johnny McWars, by trumping up something against Iran that would support them finally making that revised Beach Boys song come true…

  7. 666lattes says:

Sing softly, but carry a big chip on your shoulder.

Actually, I’d expect him to go kick Cindy again, the trollop…

  9. wearechange says:

the administration’s zeal for iran has nothing to do with enriching uranium (which they’re allowed to do under international treaty) and everything to do with the larger agenda of securing the most oil-rich tract of land in the world: syria, iraq, and iran.

of course the so-called “war on terror” is a self-fulfilling myth-turned-legend that gets increasingly real as we divide and conquer these nations with specops-instigated sectarian clashes. it doesn’t matter who’s in office: we’re going to engage iran and syria in the coming years. whether by consent, or through the coercion of another false-flag terror attack… we’re going.

hang on kids, the ride’s about to get very interesting, especially with a smart democrat about to take office.

  10. Buckie Boy says:

We have been in a nightmare for 8 years

  12. lurker says:

We all know that republicans have no sense of humor.
Remember the bush looking for WMD joke. Disgusting.

We engaged iraq for 10 years with sanctions that were working. Only the imperialists when they obtained power decided to kick the wounded dog.

Obama is smarter and has no such agenda. Peace is possible.

  14. grover nerdkissed says:

that was one of his craziest lies in the last debate, that it was a “private joke”..it wasnt in private, & we’ve all seen the video!

  15. DaTruth says:

There’s a wave of EVIL stirred by the idiot’s rise to power. It’s been going back and forth these last 8 years. This is how it manifests itself. These neocons show NO RESPECT for foreign cultures, countries, and families.

They sound like little kids, as if these whole war ordeal was laughing matter. Someone should remind them ‘what we give is what we’ll get’. Sooner or later evil deeds catch up, SHOCK and AWE style! The neo-con one track mind always ignores the consequences.

Let the hard-working middle class deal with the consequences. By then, us ‘have mores’ will be settled in a safe shelter. That’s the reptilian neo-con mentality.

  16. jb says:

He dropped bombs on light bulb factories killing innocent women and children in Vietnam, so I’d say he means it when he sings Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. Sick old phuck.

  17. larkohio says:

The bombing Iran song was just pathetic. No way, John, we are tired of the Repugs stinking wars, really, really tired, and plus, we’re broke too. Thank your buddy W. for this.

  18. Jackie says:

I noticed none of the Media reported the summit of Iran, Saudi’s, Syria and Iraq. No the US was not invited and has no clue what was discussed. But the Iraq President is smart as he turned on the topic of the US leaving Iraq. He knows he can continue to get 12 Billion a month from the US taxpayer if McCain gets in office. Once the Iraq is up and going and has enough money they will kick us out. Now BBC showed how great the Iraq Stock Market is doing and growing without any US investment. Right now they have a board with numbers but in 2 months it will be electonic. Iraq will form a leadership like Saddam had as the people will get a little and the chosen people will get alot. Iran is in a great spot now as Bush/Cheney made enemies around the World Iran was making friends.

  19. stewarjt says:

The US people have been living a nightmare since January 2001 in my view.

  20. wearechange says:

#13, #15 i wish the future president’s intelligence, education, integrity, and courage made a difference; unfortunately there are privatized versions of the CIA and military whose operations are conducted like a business, and solely for the good of the corporatacracy… this is what democrats fail to realize. you’ve got to step out of the dialectic and to understand that ideology no longer drives politics, it’s profit margins and the bottom line.

don’t tell me that an attack on american soil won’t warrant an invasion of another sovereign nation… perhaps the “evidence” will be better fabricated this time, but the end result will be same. and i’m unconvinced that voting these pricks out of office will stop them after the foothold they’ve established for themselves.

  21. Hemlock for Gadflies says:

It can’t be more of a nightmare than that lame-ass song Hank Williams Jr. “performed” at the Palin rally ‘tother day.

  22. Fred says:

    wearechange Says:
don’t tell me that an attack on american soil won’t warrant an invasion of another sovereign nation…

so the dems and the reps are all the same, is that your basic theory? Because that’s all it is, a theory.

Bill Clinton didn’t invade a country when the world trade centers were hit the first time. He handled it correctly and those people are in jail…please explain that.

bin laden on the other hand should be easy to find today. Just go to the cave where the champaigne is being delivered, he should be there.

  23. Progressive Veteran says:

I’m totally against war and everything, but those bold empty threats are laughable.

Iran doesn’t have the resources or technology to compete with the US, even with our economically weak and militarily sparse state. Not to mention Israel would jump at the chance to launch a full-out attack on Iran if the opportunity arose.

  24. Fred says:

    Progressive Veteran Says:
Iran doesn’t have the resources or technology to compete with the US, even with our economically weak and militarily sparse state.

Do you think we are not still vulnerable? bin laden had less resources than Iran and he defeated Russia and the US.

he said he would lure us into a war that would bankrupt us. You can find him now by going to the cave where the champaigne is being delivered.

  25. wearechange says:

fred, the “basic theory” is that neither democrats nor republicans make the rules. you’re deluded if you think america is ruled by anything other than corporate interests. period. if america’s children are required in the next invasion, the corporatocracy will simply whip up another patriotic frenzy in the form of a “terror attack” …

most of you still think osama bin laden is responsible for 9/11; therefore, most of you will accept marching orders from your new keeper’s ruler when the next attack occurs.

please respond with boilerplate pseudo-skepticism, fred; i.e., the “incompetence theory”, or “too many people would have to be in on it”, or “they can’t keep secrets”… the price we pay for maintaining our collective denial will be another false flag terror attack; followed by another invasion.

or perhaps they realize we’re all so completely fatigued from the continuous yellow-orange-red cry wolf reports in the MSM that they’ll simply stage the next terror act as some form of aggression against israel. or, worse, after our two illegal occupations in the past 7 years, perhaps we’ll see suitcase-sized care package arrive courtesy of the nuclear black market.

either way, we’re going to iran and syria, not necessarily in that order.
